***AVOID THIS COMPANY ***. This company is very lazy and refuse to properly check your appliances. The guy came out and had no clue on the products that needed repairing. He used some electric device and because it stated all clear he saw no issue. I had to run my machine to prove that it don’t work, then the guy was shocked and didn’t know what to do next so he ordered a part to fix the issue but NEVER RETURNED. The company lied to my warranty place marking the job complete when it wasn’t. They don’t answer the phone, return voicemails or respond to text messages.((PLEASE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE AND AVOID THE HEADACHE OF THIS LAZY COMPANY. )) If I could leave no stars I would.

Like all the reviews say, this company is garbage. My GE dryer is one month old and they’ve been trying to fix it for two months. They just keep ordering new parts and making me wait three weeks to come back to install it. The last time they left they said it’s all good and it still doesn’t work. Do you yourself a favor and stay away from this company, that’s why they have 70 one star reviews on yelpService: Dryer repair

I called GE because my new oven had a problem. They said they couldn’t come out for several weeks, but they would have Family First Appliance Repair assess the situation. Well that worked out because Family First was awesome to deal with. Maeson was the tech that figured out the problem right away. He was so professional and definitely knew his GE appliances. He ordered a new fan and then came back to install it when the part came in. He is extremely professional and polite. Family First also was great communicating with me about their availability and arrival time. Do not hesitate to use Family First, I would recommend them to anyone. Fantastic to deal with.

They scheduled 2 appointments and never showed for either. I have been trying to reach them for over a week now. Left messages and emailed. No response whatsoever. I will never recommend them to anyone.

Our new condo came with a gas range and we were having problems with our middle burner. Our builder, Khovanian, tried to put a ticket for repair in with Family First Appliance Repair, but we were told by Family First that Khovanian can not schedule Family First technicians to conduct repairs. Family First must do that and while they had a ticket from our builder, Family First had not yet had an opportunity to reach out to us to schedule someone to respond. Having said all of this, Family First came out today as they said they would, and repaired our middle burner. The technician was very friendly and spent the time to show us how to clean our burners properly. Family First is deserving of this 5 star review.

This outfit is connected with Samsung and their repair service. DO NOT allow Samsung to send your work order Family First/Chris. Read his other reviews, should be a clue. He is useless, didn't do the work, didn't show up when supposed to return, then would never respond afterward. Our elderly mother has now been without a washer for over a month because of him. Had to start the whole process over with Samsung to get assistance (Samsung's fault). Stay away from Family First and Chris.

Was given a window of 11am to 1pm for them to show up. They never did. Never got a call or text, and I left plenty of messages. I canceled appointments for them to be here, and they wasted my day. Anything else I would say invoices curse words, so just use your imagination.

Home Depot sold us a warranty on our Samsung washing machine. The warranty is covered by Asurion. When I contacted them they assigned the case to Family First Appliance Repair (FFAR) and scheduled the appointment. The day of the appointment came and no one showed up, then I got a text from FFAR saying that Asurion has no authority to schedule them and would I like to schedule them via text..OK..so we set up another appointment, now I had to wait about another 6 days for them to show-up between 8 and 10 AM. The day of that appointment I get up early and by noon no one had showed up. I sent a text back asking if someone was still intent on coming, NOTHING, NO REPSONSE. I tried calling their number, it rang for about 15 times before a voicemail came on and said to text that same number for the best response. Well, I had already texted. In the end I called Home Depot back and told them that I wanted this warranty repair reassigned to another repair company. Bottom line: Pick someone, ANYONE BUT Family First Appliance Repair - all the BAD REVIEWS you're seeing are apparently true.Service: Washing machine repair

I have a home warranty through 2-10 and this company was contacted to repair my broken dryer. The first visit they assessed the broken parts and said they would place an order and they would arrive in 5 business days. The parts were never ordered and they never let me know until weeks later that the parts would exceed my warranty coverage. However after calling my warranty company my coverage is over $3000. Family first had stopped answering my phone calls and texts and they scammed me with a service fee for the first visit. They had me Venmo instead of taking my credit card so it's difficult to try to get my warranty company to pay me back because I never got any recipe or invoice from Family first. In the meantime I haven't had a working dryer for over a month.DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! THEY WILL SCAM YOU.Service: Dryer repair

Wow, so many low start reviews and Home Depot uses these useless people. mix up our appointment, shows up with no intention of opening up dishwasher to see what is needed says oh could be the timer and then says part will be sent to us in 2-3 days. Don't call to ask for a tracking number you will get canceled. Don't know why Home Depot doesn't cancel this company, over half are 1 star reviews and its all the same as what we experienced. Edit: No cursing was involved just trying to find out and getting discriminated against.Service: Dishwasher repair

Just like the others reporting on Family First Appliance Repair LLC, I was assigned this contractor via 2-10 Home Warrantee to have my stovetop knob fixed. They came out quickly to diagnose and get that service. The part they ordered came directly to my home and was told to call/text them when the part arrived. i did both and its been 2 weeks with no response and I'll calling everyday. Reported to my home warranty company to escalate. This is ridiculous and poor Custer service. I'm definitely going to ask 2-10 customer support management to look at the reviews this particular contractor is getting so they can be removed as a potential contractor

I can’t comment on the quality of work because my service request with Ed or Carrie never got that far . I know it was warranty work amd there a lot of channels to go though to get approval , and I was told that Family First was handling paperwork . The day of my appointment I Tex to MAKE sure I was on their schedule , no response, try to call no response ( their Reason for not getting back to me that day Phone Issues). The following day I Tex amd revived back a Tex and was inform my paperwork never went though !!They had to know that days before as they prepared their schedule but never never thought to call !! They drop the ball !!

Not impressed. Unfortunately, I had to use them as they have GE repair techs that would work with my warranty for my washer. They contacted me- by text- on a Monday to schedule me for Wednesday, and said the store I bought the appliance from could not schedule their appointments, so I couldn’t have the appointment that the store had given me. They text me Tuesday, “sorry, we overbooked and can’t come tomorrow. We can come next week.” Told them if they didn’t show up, don’t worry about rescheduling since this was the second appointment I’ve been scheduled for, and I’d find someone else. They show up on the appointment day, tell me I need a valve and that they’ll order it but in the mean time, I can still use my washer on the hot setting (we’re going on 2 weeks of no washer and having to run to the laundry mat). I go to use my washer, and wouldn’t you know it…IT DOESNT WORK. Despite their repair tech telling us it would still work. So now I wait for this part to come to my house and wait another week for them to come install it. 10/10 DO NOT recommendService: Washing machine repair
