Hooks & Hangers II is a decent thrift store and a quality resale store located in Southern Maryland. As the only one in the area, it is worth stopping in every couple of months for those who enjoy browsing. The store offers affordable clothing, furniture, household items, books, collectibles, and more, with all proceeds supporting adults with disabilities. The store provides a great thrifting experience and is a vast space filled to the brim with items, making a visit literally a treasure hunt. It is always kept neat, clean, pretty well organized, and very organized, with so many things fit into a small area. The employees are frequently noted as friendly and so kind. The book section is above average with a ton of hardback and paperbacks for $0.25 each, and the antique or furniture section looks decent. Some cons include that the clothes, at least in the men's section, do not seem to be organized by size, making it harder to shop. A good bit of the furniture pieces are believed to be overpriced, though not all. The furniture area can be hard to navigate, as it is difficult to tell if items are singular, part of a set, for sale, or just display. It can also be challenging to find an employee for help, with some displaying disdain in helping customers. However, prices are generally reasonable.
Enjoy looking around at this Trift Store.. Sometimes you can find some very nice stuff 👍🏽
