I had such a great experience at Saint Charles Animal Hospital and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for veterinary care.

My dog had recently been bitten by another dog, and we needed to get his rabies vaccination updated. I initially had an appointment scheduled at a different animal hospital, but I decided to switch to Saint Charles Animal Hospital, and I’m so glad I did.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the front desk staff and promptly taken into a room. We arrived pretty early for our appointment, but it honestly never felt like we were sitting around waiting. The front desk staff and veterinary technician checked on us several times and even offered us water and refreshments, which I really appreciated.

The veterinary technician was wonderful with my dog and even took an AMAZING photo of him that I absolutely love! ?? It was such a small thing, but it made the experience that much more memorable.

When the veterinarian came in, she was just as welcoming. She came right over, introduced herself, and shook my hand, which I thought was such a nice and professional touch. She was very warm with both me and my dog, completed his physical exam, and administered his rabies vaccination quickly. Everything went smoothly, and we were still able to leave on time.

The facility itself was extremely clean, comfortable, and well maintained. There was no noticeable animal odor at all, which honestly impressed me for a veterinary hospital.

The physical exam was a little pricey for me since I don’t currently have pet insurance, but the quality of care and overall experience were excellent. My dog is generally very healthy, so this was actually my first time needing to take him to a veterinarian for something like this. Considering the circumstances surrounding his visit, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

They also provided us with a plan of care and recommendations for follow-up, and I definitely plan to return to Saint Charles Animal Hospital for his future veterinary needs.

Everyone we interacted with was kind, attentive, professional, and made both of us feel comfortable. If I could give them 10 stars, I’d give them more than 10! ⭐️? I would absolutely recommend Saint Charles Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a place to take their pet for vaccinations, checkups, follow-up care, or other veterinary services.”

“It’s very unfortunate for both the staff and patrons that Banfield allows corporate to regulate scheduling without having accurate, real-time availability for the individual location. This creates unnecessary frustration for everyone involved, and I really hope this scheduling issue is addressed. This is what deducts a star from my review.

That being said, this Banfield location operates beautifully on the ground, and I consistently have a great experience when I’m there. The staff does an excellent job despite the scheduling challenges, and Sierra, in particular, is a phenomenal receptionist! She is always wonderful to interact with and truly deserves recognition.”
