Took my mom here for the 3rd year in a row to celebrate her birthday because she requests it and loves it so much. We always reserve a junior suite, which has a fireplace, jacuzzi, and wrap around balcony that has a wonderful view of the Chesapeake Bay. The front desk staff is pleasant and professional. There's a casino, and an event location for functions such as weddings, including a mini amphitheater on the property. Over the years, we've witnessed growth and improvements. Currently, there is construction and a new section being built.Nearby activities: Breezy Point Beach is a nice location on the Chesapeake Bay that has a small beach, grills and a RV and camping area.Walkability: North Beach has a nice boardwalk and small play area for kids.Food & drinks: There are 2 locations to grab a bit to eat. Trader's is a pretty good restaurant less than 5 mins away that also has a bar area, outdoor deck area, and casino room connected

Oh! I haven't stayed in the hotel in a while. You use to give us free or reduced rooms but,, we haven't had any in a while. Would love to come back. My husband and I go to the gaming room a lot. Also the bar- b cue is good.

Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and the location was close to everything. Only downside was the construction and walk from the parking garage to the entrance.

Most rude staff I have ever dealt with. Night shift was very nice and helpful. Day shift acted like we were a burden and giving us the number to the spa was like asking them to move a ton of bricks. When we pointed it out to the manager, he said we were rude. We were only there for a quick weekend getaway. We checked out on Saturday because of the manager. Don’t expect any help or kindness. Stay ANYWHERE else.

Had an awful experience. My room didn’t have hot water to the shower. When I called the front desk I had to hold for a very long time. And when I asked for a manager I had to argue with him (Glenn Shan) to explain not hot water at the shower.I would not recommend this hotel to my family and friends ever again.

Do realize that your room amount is not what you pay. They add on a resort fee. It's a nice location. The mattresses are older though. I don't like the bait and switch on pricing. Yes in the very fine print it's hidden. It's also just a hotel on the water. Resorts have far more to do. It does have a nice Xmas tree.Rooms: AverageNoteworthy details: Waterfront

It’s really more of a hotel and less of a resort. There’s not a whole lot to do in the town in general. The rooms were clean and the front desk was friendly. The CBQ restaurant is overpriced for food quality and quantity. The 1936 Bar and Grill was much better. The “casino” is really just two small rooms of slot rooms filled with gambling addicts. If you’re looking for a costal getaway for the offseason, Ocean City, Delaware, or Cape Cod are way better bets.
