Love love this animal hospital. Staff is so sweet with my Service Dog Collin’s. They get him right in when needed. He had to have surgery cause he tore his ACL and they did a great job.

The staff is so kind and helpful. They get us in very quickly, sometimes the same day. Their boarding service is affordable, and who doesn't feel confident that their furbaby will be ok in the hands of their vet?

Questioning the necessity for a test is enough to get one booted out. Oh well. Onward to a more accommodating vet. My pup is great and I need great service which is not available at this practice.

My dog was put down by them, and she felt everything during the euthanasia process. The sedation went wrong due to lack of experience/knowledge by their staff team and as a result I had to hold my dog down as she yelped in pain and died slowly. This place NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! Never come here if u value your pets life.

Very compassionate. Took our Jack Russell in due to heart complications. They did not request unnecessary tests that a Laurel, Md doctor wanted.

Had my dog seen here for shots and to be neutered. They took great care with him. The employees were very friendly, responsive and kept me informed of his situation.

Charged me $300 to medicate my cats eye for a week only to charge another $500 that following week to remove his eye! When I tried telling him that I knew he would have to lose it from the beginning after witnessing his younger brother get his dew claw caught in the others eye while playing rough with each other as kittens tend to do!! And I'm no longer working due to cancer treatments etc and this completely wiped me out financially! And emotionally!

Peck has been rude to me on several occasions and most recently to my son when he took his cat. As a result of their interaction, my son filed a complaint against him. In searching for a new vet, I found it very telling that "Eastern Shore Animal Hospital" didn't even show up on the list of "good vets near me" - speaks volumes.

I wouldn’t recommend this vet to my worst enemy. Honestly Dr. Ferrara shouldn’t even be practicing. Our dog was spayed at this clinic by Dr. Peck, and aside from the fact that we were quoted a price & charged almost double for it when we showed up to pick her up, we also ran into bigger issues. Our dogs lady part was nicked when they shaved her for the procedure, leaving her extremely irritated and licking constantly when she came home. After a day of her not being able to sit still and not licking for more than 5 minutes, we called the on call doctor who happened to be Dr. Ferrara. It was ten at night when she answered. We told her about the cut on her vulva that was irritating her and as she was mumbling, and I was trying to piece together what she was telling me to do, the phone went silent. She fell asleep on me. Which sadly isn’t the worst of what happened. Fast forward I called back the next day as her suggestion had not worked. She agreed to meet me in the office for an emergency visit. She was late & brought her husband (who I’m assuming is not a licensed veterinarian) it was just us in the office as it was after hours. She had her husband helping her do things and hold the dog down so she could look at her which I felt was very unprofessional. She had the same demeanor as the phone the night before, sleepy & mumbling, rubbing her face, just not with it. She continued to touch the dogs irritated private parts with no gloves and no hand washing before or after. My dog who had just had surgery two days prior was frantic as it kept being touched & she sprayed some sort of calming spray on. I felt so bad for her, she was already in pain from being spayed. As we stood there waiting to see if the spray worked I asked questions about the spray such as “what if she licks it, can she digest it.” I got an iffy response of “uhmmm she should be ok.” Very promising… she also brought up the fact that she had fallen asleep the night before on the phone with me, almost laughing and boiled it down to medical issues and being on medication. I’m not one to judge someone’s medical state, but if you are on call as a licensed veterinarian to treat animals in emergency situations, you shouldn’t be on any form of medicine that would allow you to be so drowsy that you fall asleep on the phone with a patient at 10pm. She was getting frustrated with herself in the office yelling “I can’t even talk!” while trying to explain the spray to us. Something was not right & she should not have been practicing medicine that weekend, if at all moving forward. The spray did not work as our pup was taken off the table and went right back to jerking and licking, clearly still irritated. We felt so uncomfortable at that point being the only ones in the office with her and her husband and the way they were behaving that we just wanted to get out of the situation. We were sent on our way with the spray that didn’t work and charged $70. I called the next day and spoke with Sonia, a manager at the office and told her the experience we had. She was very apologetic and in shock about what had occurred. She said she or the owner, Dr. Peck, would be in touch with me later that day or the following, as the situation was completely unacceptable. It’s been over a week and I haven’t heard from anyone. Save yourself the hassle and find another vet in the area. I’m taking my dog to a different vet to get her stitches removed, I will never step foot in that place again.

Dr Ferara went above and beyond helping us in an emergency with our dog today. I would recommend her to anyone in the area!

The people are very pleasant and they treat my dog with love and care just like I do at home.
