Food and service were great. Our waitress Shannon was awesome. We will be back. Actually, my husband is planning to have his birthday dinner there!

We dined here on a Thursday early evening. The servers were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere. There was a longer than expected wait for the food and upon finally being served, the food was not hot. The portions are average, it's unlikely you'll be bringing any food home.OVERALL: I recommend this restaurant.

First time there. Had lunch with my cousin and had the Italian grill sandwich. Bread is delicious and crusty and had plenty of meat and cheese. Atmosphere very nice.

For the price it's one of my favorite Italian restaurants. It's not five star, but the prices aren't 5 star either, more like a 4 star with 3 star prices . Good food, great wine and service.

Was our first time eating here today. Busy lunchtime crowd but service was phenomenal. I cannot remember our waitresses name but she was an older gal who was extremely friendly and top notch. I'd come back just to have her again as our waitress.I had the cream of crab soup and thought it was delicious. Had plenty of crab meat and very flavorful. We also had the Mozzarella Caprese which was fresh and tasty. We also ordered the chicken parm which was decent. The chicken was slightly overcooked but still pretty good, especially for $11. She had the Shrimp Riviera which was just ok as a couple of the shrimp were a little mushy. We probably wouldn't order that dish again. We will absolutely be back to try out a few more items from the menu! Thank you for a nice first experience!

If you’re in the mood for Italian in Chestertown, Louisa’s is the place to be. Whether you’re looking for a good pizza or home style Italian cooking, you’ll be satisfied. The menu is expansive and there’s more than enough for carnivores, omnivores, and vegetarians. Make a reservation if you want a seat in the beautiful, wood-paneled dining room. If you forgot reservations there is a side-room. I recommend reservations, because the ambiance is great. Over multiple visits Louisa's has been a good experience. Parking nearby is sparing, so be mindful. Enjoy yourself. Don't be an a$$h0le.

A good lunch with good food. Linguine with mussels fine, mussels somewhat overcooked. Full, so ate at the very well-stocked bar. Liked the various waitresses, who ranged from perky to crusty.

This is an excellent Italian restaurant located just outside of Chestertown. The food is rich and tasty and well presented.

Went for lunch, I had the veal Parm which was ok. Wife had crab and leek quiche special which was undercooked - the center of the slice of quiche was runny and not set. There are better dining options in Chestertown.

Very nice restaurant. It was very busy on a Friday night but we did call ahead and make a reservation. We were seated about 10 minutes b4 our reservation time. The hostess was polite as was our server. The complimentary bread is delicious. There is a great wine and drink selection. The menu has tons of different items with something for everyone. My wife had the baked ziti and I had a house special seafood pasta with angel hair scallops, shrimp, and crab meat topped with a cream sauce and old bay. Absolutely delicious. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the crab dip. It tasted great and had huge chunks of crabmeat I just didn't like the runny consistency, I prefer mine thicker. Other than that it was awesome.

Food is way over priced and taste crappy. The alfredo noodles tasted nasty and the chicken was rubbery and over cooked. Literally taste like someone dug it out of the trash, heated it up and stuck it on a fancy plate and charged me 10 bucks. I can get better noodles at the buck store and 8 bucks for a piece of cheesecake that was dry with stale raspberry syrup? I can go to redners next door and get an entire fresher cheese cake for almost the same price! Wasted 60 bucks on trash! But I will say the service was friendly. The atmosphere pleasant. But that doesn’t make the food good imo. Hire new cooks. I feel like puking!

I’ve been enjoying the food here at Louisa’s for Will over 25 years. The food, the staff and the environment continue to be exceptional prices are fair.
