I have been here several times and had extensive repairs and jewelry cleaning done, including having Adam rebuild all the prongs of my 1930s diamond and platinum engagement ring. He did a beautiful job. He was usually pleasant, his sister was usually off-putting and rude, however I ignored that. I have recommended him to several people over the years. Most recently I brought in a white sapphire and gold estate band to have him replace three of the stones and rebuild the prongs to secure the ring. To make a long story short, I finally got the ring back, was thrilled-- it looked gorgeous! I wore it no more than 3 times over 2 or three weeks when I noticed two of the stones had fallen out. I went back into the store to show him and was greeted by his surly sister who was immediately defensive and rude and accusatory. I asked to see Adam, who came down from his workroom, also "on fire," defensive, blaming me for banging the ring around and claiming that he didnt rebuilt to prongs, only tightened them. I asked why he charged me so much if he didn't rebuild, as I knew for a fact that the stones themselves cost very little (I had done the research prior to bringing in the ring the first time). He had no good answers, only accused me of having the ring for a lot longer than I had. Unfortunately, I had thrown away my receipt upon picking up the ring, AND he refused to look in his records for his copy because "he didn't have time." He and his sister were nasty, defensive, rude and as I said as I walked out the door, they totally ripped me off. I would never go back.

Went in to get my bracelet repaired, received excellent and quick service! I was treated very kindly, and that is rare.

Adam Kesheshian is a talented and honest jeweler. He designed and hand-crafted our wedding bands 27 years ago and recently he created three diamond pendants from jewelry handed down to me from my great grand parents. I highly recommend.

Small store with selective and curated estate jewelry, and very personable service. Pleased with the work I have had completed with them. Will continue to use and shop there.

The person behind the counter was very honest with me. I came in to have a new watch tightened, but she warned me it would be uncomfortable if I removed any more links. As it turns out, the watch fits fine and I'm just not used to how it feels on my wrist (I normally wear a fitbit with a velcro band). I sincerely appreciate that I didn't spend any money unnecessarily and I would certainly return to this business in the future.

I left a ring to be resized and was told to come back almost a week later on Tuesday. When I returned, they said "No...next Tuesday." Two weeks to resize a ring!!! I took it to the jewelers around the corner instead and they did the job on the spot. Took 20 minutes and they charged much less for it. Overall, an unpleasant experience at Keshishian's.

After a year of trying to work with 4 different jewelers, I finally found Adam Keshishian Jewelers in Chevy Chase. The experience was night and day after a very frustrating year of working with others. Adam is creative and low key, gave me a reasonable timeline, worked with me to create the perfect design, and came in UNDER budget. I can recommend them unreservedly.

I've been coming to Adam Keshishian and Akabi for many years. They have done highly specialized work on delicate family pieces, and are always happy to address any questions I have. My wife has loved the items we have gotten from them and they are very reasonably priced. Each time I have visited them, their customer service has been excellent. Great supporting a local business at a time where the big jewelry stores treat everyone like a commodity.

Adam Keshishian is one of the finest jewelers you can trust, and Akabi is an expert appraiser who understands not only the value of a flawless diamond but also the personal meaning and history invested in an heirloom. You will be stunned by the collection of pieces on display their shop, each an individual treasure, and you will feel appreciated by their kindness and personal attention to your tastes and preferences. They are the jewelers I go to for everything from the appraisal of a diamond wedding ring from my mother's estate to the repair of silver earrings that I wear every day. Most recently, Adam restored an heirloom necklace that belonged to my grandmother. It was no longer in a wearable condition, so it was undervalued. Akabi identified the design as Victorian, and Adam brilliantly kept the piece whole instead of trying to match missing stones or severing the chain from the central pendant. With his meticulous eye for detail, he preserved the integrity of the original design and restored this necklace to a new life. Now, I can proudly wear it and gladly pass it on. He even replaced a lost stone in a ring with an almost identical stone that showed the setting better than the original. Everything I have taken to Adam and Akabi has been invested with a new value. I would gladly pay much more for all of their work.

I forget the name of the lady who helped us but it was great service and a very reasonable price. My wife and I came in to get a wedding band and have her engagement ring as well as my ring resized after our marriage. The turn around for the work was very quick ! Great job

Adam and his whole staff were amazing! My 8 year old daughter got my ring stuck on her finger and it was starting to turn purple. Adam carefully and thoughtfully removed the ring without any pain. I have used them many times and would highly recommend them for all your jewelry needs. They are experienced and honest jewelers!

I took in a 50 year old bracelet to be cleaned and monogrammed. It had been created in West African and was hand done. The work Keshishian did was exceptional. The piece has never looked this good, not even new. The workmanship was outstanding. I can highly recommend this vendor for the quality and timeliness of their work. Thank you Akabi.
