i have been coming to juve for a couple of years — we moved to bethesda a couple of years ago, and i tried out several nail salons, and juve is the only one i come back to. i get acrylic sets with gel, and have gotten them from both kelly and crystal. they’re both amazing, but i have had crystal most frequently, and have been very happy every time. she’s quick, kind, my nails always look great, and they last well over a month. juve is also super easy to book appointments with (yay online option!), and i have always been treated warmly by the front desk. definitely recommend juve for nail treatments (and if i find myself in the market for botox etc, will definitely be trying juve first!)

My nail tech was super nice and did a fantastic job on my gel manicure! The front desk receptionist was very welcoming! Overall I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back for more services in the future. I love that the location is walking distance from the Metro.

They are under new management now and their new name is Juve Beauty. This was my 2nd time visiting this salon under the new management. Both times I have had a great experience. The front desk is friendly. The interior is nice and clean. They normally have a baking show on - so don't go hungry :) Lexi did my nails. I got the powder dip manicure. She was great. She listened to me and shaped my nails the way that I liked them. You would think this would be a simple thing, but I can not tell you how many nail technicians do not get that right. If you can not get an appointment online try giving them a call.

My first time having a pedicure at this salon several months ago, I requested to have acrylic applied for one individual nail but the technician decided to do them all and then charge me way more than what I anticipated. She even acknowledged I only requested one nail and had decided without asking me to do them all when I was confused about the price and insisted she gave me a discount at least.
Then this is past week, I walked in and no one acknowledged me whatsoever. Numerous employees made eye contact with me. No greeting, no wait time offered, no inquiry about what service I wanted. Just very bizarrely looked at me then went back to what they were doing. I stood and waited several minutes before ultimately deciding to leave.

I couldn’t figure out how to add an additional review for the new ownership for this establishment . Gloss Time is no longer it is now Juve Beauty. All I have to say is don’t have the same expectations for good customer service from Juve Beauty that you received from Gloss Time Nails. The new management implemented many changes and apparently didn’t think they needed to inform their loyal customers who have been coming there for more than two years. I guess they only prefer new customers.But they want to capitalize off the success and 4+ star reviews from the original Gloss Time.

GlossTimeNails (Juve) in Chevy Chase stands above the rest! This nail salon is always amazing; from the professional nail technicians to the friendly service and always clean environment! My technician Alexis did a fantastic pedicure service! All the technicians are amazing, you cannot go wrong with GlossTimeNails (soon to be Juve Beauty). HIGHLY RECOMMEND for men and women alike!

At 8 months pregnant, I booked a pedicure with Vy, who had done a great job for me in the past, as a day-off treat. When I arrived for my appointment, I was assigned to another technician without consultation. Turns out she was giving me her first pedicure ever. She cut my nails so short that that they were uneven and couldn’t be evened, since there was no more nail to file off. A basic pedicure took over an hour. My feet looked worse than when I came in. When I complained, I was given $8 off. $32 is too much to pay to make your feet look worse and wasting an hour, I said. So they gave me 50% off. $20 is also too much to pay to make your feet look worse and wasting an hour, but the manager wouldn’t budge. I won’t go back. Bummer.

Excellent customer service something went a little bit wrong with one of my nail technician. Given the background experience. Everybody does deserve a second chance in which I’m definitely willing to do given of the professionalism of the owner Rhonda immediately rectify the issue. Once you do receive a customer service like that you still definitely want to give it another try so I do appreciate that.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE!! This girl Lexi. She sits in the 1st chair when you walk in. I don't recommend it at all. First, when she was filing the nail, she hurt me very hard to the point of drawing blood from my finger and she didn't even apologize, then she continued filing my nails very hard and rude, even the finger that she hurt previously, she continued filing without being careful. At the time I made my appointment I made it very clear that I wanted a regular acrylic and even when I got to the place I repeated that I wanted something regular, when I paid they charged me for acrylic gel and I told them that that was not what I wanted but it was what they had done to me and I had to pay a large amount for something that I did not ask for. the design where it is clearly seen that she made a mistake on a nail where she didn't even bother to fix it, even knowing that they were going to charge me more than what they had told me. Not even the shape is right because I have longer or thinner nails than others. I decided to let her do her work thinking that she still had more to file or fix and that's why I didn't say anything to her at that moment but I was wrong and she didn't do anything right. DEFINITELY NONE OF THAT IS WORTH THE $80 DOLLARS THEY CHARGED ME I am very frustrated by how poorly she did her job because in a few days I am celebrating my baby shower and I went to this place expecting good service because of the great reviews they have. but now I don't even have time to fix the mess she made on my nails shm My little cousin swears she would do a better job for only $65 and she just graduated as a nail tech. Btw the vibe was good, I liked it a lot and I could even say that I would go again but I would choose a different person to do my nails

Amazing nail salon! This was my first time and I booked with kelly because of all her other reviews and it did not disappoint. I got a basic gel pedicure and kelly took her time cleaning up my nails and it was pretty quick (I dont always like the scrub and extra services so this was perfect). I also got a full set. I showed her a photo of the shape I wanted because I'm very specific and I showed her another photo of how I specifically wanted my rhinestones. Absolutely perfection. She got exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it. She was constantly checking to make sure I was always happy with how they were coming out. I love my nails so much and booked again with her right away. I'm also personally not a huge talker during my nail appointments and I was able to enjoy just watching my show while she worked. My experience was really great here!

Wonderful place, friendly and calm staff and clean environment with great choice of tv shows. Having appointment times really helps the services not feel rushed.
