I came here for some quick hibachi and didn't feel like going to my usual spot in the mall. This place is located in a shopping center so there is ample parking and you may be able to get a few other errands accomplished. When I came in it was empty and there was initially no one behind the counter/ register. After placing my order I needed to ask for a key to use the restroom. I guess they have an issue with non-customers trying to use the restroom. I ordered shrimp tempura sushi rolls along with chicken and shrimp hibachi. All of it was underwhelming. My sushi roll barely had any shrimp and the chicken and shrimp hibachi left more to be desired. Despite the convenience I would probably still go out my way to my regular location for quick hibachi. There was a sign indicating they were hiring cooks so perhaps it's a staffing issue.

I know it suppose to be more meat. This is the steak hibachi. Never will be back here. And that female cashier don't like dealing with black people I can tell.

I found this restaurant during the COVID shutdown here in DC in 2020. I was leaving a grocery store when I saw it in the same shopping center. I've since started placing a to-go orders before I do my shopping on Saturday, and they have it ready when I'm done. We mainly eat sashimi, nigiri, and rolls and we have not yet been disappointed. I was a little worried the first time because prices were a little less than what I expected (weird right?), but the quality is equal to a much higher-priced sushi place.

This was our first time trying this place and we ordered via DoorDash. We ordered one chicken and one beef bento box and the portion sizes were reasonable. It was good enough that we would consider ordering again. Everything was packaged well by the restaurant and the presentation was quite decent for a takeout place — we definitely like how the to-go bento box was organized with all the items clearly separated.
