This is the friendliest furniture store in Harford county. Talk to Chris, he’ll get you a good, honest deal. They deliver to most places in the vicinity. Pretty good selection.

Purchased two custom pieces from Harford Home. When the 3piece couch with power recline and head rest (the more expensive customizations) arrived it appeared defective. I explained to the owner that one section of the couch appeared warped or lopsided. I was brushed off originally and instructed the pieces need to be “fluffed”. When I sent photos explaining my concern, I was told that it’s a custom piece and there are no options other than to have a technician come look at it. I was told this would probably be at a cost to me as the owner didn’t feel there was an issue. He noted if there was an issue (that would be covered under the warranty) the technicians visit and fixes would be covered. However, when I still complained that my expectations were not met for a custom piece, I was again dismissed and given a flippant remark to the effect of their product is a “Volkswagen not a Mercedes”. Well if I’m buying custom pieces that have top end customizations, yes, I do expect better customer service. I also expect it when I am paying Mercedes prices. Additionally, I explained the quality issues, and I was again told that their product was superior to other furniture companies. However, he explained that the items were only superior for the mechanics because the warranty covers 3 years for power features. Morale of the story - do not buy from this store. If you are going to purchase furniture go anywhere else. As the owner even said the benefit of this store is just the mechanics, so if that’s not a priority for you go elsewhere!

The showroom is clean and the staff was friendly. The prices for the furniture they have verses other stores with the same products is way to high. They charge an additional $30 fee on top of the delivery fee to deliver to a gated area. Other stores will deliver for the same price as off post (normally free or minimal due to close distances).

I have purchased from Harford Home Furniture (formerly Brass & Oak Galleries) several times and have been very happy with all of it. We've purchased 2 Amish bedroom sets and Mike, the owner, helped me custom design an Amish breakfast nook for my small kitchen. You won't find better quality furniture. My bedroom set is 13 years old and looks brand new. Great customer service and the only place I'll buy furniture.

As much as I'd like to give this business 5 stars, I'm being generous giving 3. On August 14, 2020 We purchased a Winners Only bedroom set for my daughter's birthday. We were given a 8/10 week ETA (thanks to Covid) but not a big deal. Our set arrived and the manager called me to inform me that the wrong dresser was sent. I could either take the bed and nightstand and wait an additional 6 weeks for the correct dresser, or have them hold everything until the correct dresser was sent. I chose the latter. I received a phone call on the last week of October Stating the correct dresser had arrived at the store. They brought out my set on Nov 29th and I was shocked to find that when the men unpacked the dresser there was a great deal of damage to the corner of it. I was really upset; the delivery guy told me to contact the store and they would have to order another. I was extremely disappointed that it was almost December and we still didn't have a bedroom set we ordered in August!! I would have thought the manager would have personally called me to apologize for the accident and inform me when my replacement would come in. NOT SO. My husband and I drove to the store and let him know that we were frustrated with what had happened. He seemed pretty much, unapologetic; said he would order us another. No big deal in his opinion. After talking to him for at least 10 minutes, explaining our frustration, he said " what do you want me to do?" My husband said "maybe a percentage off, due to all the issues that weren't our fault" The manager said that he would get the dresser in, then we would take about it. Well. The dresser finally arrived after Christmas. I paid the final amount. No compensation for anything. I won't shop here again.

Family owned business that sells quality furniture. We purchased an electric reclining couch. The motors run quiet and smooth. The best couch I have owned.

Best Home Furnishing Store Ever! Very accomodating and patient salespeople. Almost every piece of furniture in my house is from them dating way back to Brass and Oak Gallery days. Prices are also so much more reasonable then competetition.

Brass and Oak Galleries is now doing business as HARFORD HOME FURNITURE & MATTRESS in Churchville, MD on Route 22 next to the Artic Circle. Their address is 3036 Churchville Road, Churchville, MD 21028. Still the same owner and salespeople, still the same quality furniture as in the past 25 years, with some new lines added, including Flex Steel, Temple and Serta.

Wife and I were furniture shopping, mostly for a hutch because we picked out a table at another store that we planned on purchasing. Then we saw a very nice table at this place and bought that one instead. Quality products at very reasonable prices. Will be checking out this spot first when purchasing our next piece of furniture. Very nice people that work there as well.

The first table that was delivered had a nail sticking out of the middle, where the leaves folded down. The delivery people did go right back to the store to get us another one. The second one had some scratches and a few dents but I accepted it, anyway, because we were having guests over for dinner that evening. All in all, it is a sturdy set but not very good quality. The table is just over a year old and the finish is wearing off just from normal, everyday cleaning after meals with a damp cloth. I called the store and they told me they could not do anything about it because it was past the one-year warranty. One of their employees told me he would come over to look at it. The day of the appointment he called and said he had the flu and needed to reschedule. It is weeks later and still no phone call. Now I wish I had just spent a little more and bought a table and chairs from the Amish. I won't go back to Brass & Oak.

My husband and I were in search of a new dining table for our eat-in kitchen and our first stop was Brass & Oak Galleries. We were promptly greeted by a friendly saleswoman that told us to let her know if we needed any help. She pointed us in the direction of the dining sets and we started to look over their collections. We had a few questions about a couple of the sets and another salesperson came over to answer them since the lady we first saw was now with another customer. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the furniture. The set we favored came in a few different colors and could be paired with several different chairs. He gave us a printout of our favorite set with the pricing, including tax and delivery. Since this was the first store we looked in for our dining room table, we thanked him and over the next couple of weeks we went to a few other stores to compare. After we had exhausted ourselves with furniture shopping, we decided to go back to Brass & Oak to narrow down our options. The set we saw there was in our top two choices and we talked with another salesman on our return visit. He checked to make sure the table and chairs we wanted were in stock and gave us another printout with the total pricing. This time the price was cheaper because we had a coupon ($100 off a $1000) and told us that we could order the set over the phone if we decided this was the table we wanted. My husband and I went home and after talking it over, we decided to go with the table at Brass & Oak. Although this one was more expensive than our other choice at another store, the quality was much higher and we knew that this table would last longer. When my husband called to place the order, he asked the salesman if he could match the delivery price of the other store and he gladly obliged. It saved us another $20. We set up a delivery date and time for a few days later. The two delivery men showed up on time as scheduled and they were very friendly. After the table was put together, they opened it up and made sure the leaf was working correctly (it is the kind that is stored inside the table) and then they cleaned up all the boxes and left. My husband and I are highly satisfied with our table and recommend looking at Brass & Oak for furniture and great customer service!
