I used to always use CVS, but I've switched completely to this pharmacy about a year ago, maybe more. The only problems I've had here are the same problems you can encounter at any pharmacy. Except at most other pharmacies ive been to those 'same' problems, are way worse
Like at CVS in my experience when a medication is out of stock they wont have it for a week or more. Then at Harris Teeter Phaarmacy the pharmarcists will let you know that you should call ahead for certain meds so they can get it in stock beforehand. And when they order it, as long as you call before about noon and it's not the weekend, they'll have it the next day 90% of the time. They are as fast as the computer systems and bureaucratic tape lets them be

This is by far the worst pharmacy that I’ve experienced, especially when you contact them via phone as the consumer! It’s unfortunate that I should feel I’m inconveniencing your staff by asking or requesting prescription information over the phone, and then hung up on after telling the pharmacy representative “thank you and have a good day” I would normally give a business a second chance, however I feel it’s best to transfer my business to a pharmacy that appreciates me as their customer!

Went to get vaccinated for the season but the nurse VERY CLEARLY had no idea how to administer the shot. Blood SPEWED from my upper arm and ran all the way down to my wrist. VERY PAINFUL. Nurse pretended this is normal and simply wiped the blood away. In my 35 years of getting annual shots, this has NEVER happened and you guessed it, I will never return. Stay very far away from here if you don’t want real painful and bloody vaccinations.

One of the worst customer services.

Unfortunately, they (Emanuel) misplaced my prescription, causing a significant inconvenience. It's frustrating when a pharmacy mishandles something as important as medication. I hope they improve their organization and communication to prevent similar incidents in the future.

The worse experience!! The people working there are rude and not professional. I would not recommend this place. They definitely need new people to work there. It sad that it’s the only near by pharmacy. With people giving that kind of treatment is the worse. And they never have anything in stock.

They make my kids prescription so quick but some basic flu medicines were out of stock.

When I dropped off prescription order, the pharmacist should let me know that prescription is not in stock right away so I can go to other pharmacy. It is unsatisfied customer service or the policy needs to be changed. Customers do not want to wait for you to order to be available next day.

Truly awful. I was told medication would be ready at 3pm. Came back at 3:30 after driving around with my kids in the car, they said it wasn’t ready and to circle, three times I was told this. I will never be using HT again, as the best way to let a company know your disappointment is not to spend your money with them.

I went to Harris Teeter pharmacy because they offered both Pfizer and Moderna covid vaccine booster shots. Having never been to HT pharmacy, the service was quick, efficient and friendly.

I got a text saying my prescription was ready but they needed my insurance information. I showed up to pick up my prescription and presented my insurance card. This same card worked at Walgreens, CVS and Giant pharmacy’s and should be applicable here. The rep told me she needed to see my CVS insurance card. I said I don’t have it. And asked what the problem is with my regular insurance. (Which covers prescriptions) She said it wasn’t applicable. She asked for the number to CVS where I last used visited. I provided it. She said I couldn’t get my prescription until the next day. I asked how much it was out of pocket because I need my prescription, I’m very sick. She said $30 and I can have my medicine today. I said so what you’re telling me is that my prescription is ready now, but you’re going to wait to call CVS to get insurance info so I can save on my prescription and get it tomorrow…. Instead of just calling now. She said yes.I called my health Insurance company and asked if my insurance was accepted at Harris Teeter and they said yes.So basically this place stole money from me, because they did not apply my insurance. Just so I could get my medicine.I will not be coming here for my prescriptions ever again. Thieves and liars!

You should be able to pay with cash in a grocery store. Lines long for employees to ring you up and only credit at self serve. Ridiculous.

This is the worst pharmacy ever. My psych calls to refill meds and then they tell me that my psych didn’t call and that makes her job harder. Whenever I get new refills they ALWAYS make the insurance sign a waiver which takes like 2 days. They don’t care if you’re out of medication and are about to go through withdrawal. They will however allow you to buy a few pills everyday until the problem gets fixed. They always try to find an excuse to NOT give people they’re medicine. It sucks because it’s the closest to my house and it’s the worst. I’m going back to CVS in Damascus.
