Bought a yukata from them at the Japanese Festival in St. Louis, MO. I wanted to return because it was small (Paul agreed to put it on the rack since it was cotton, and not silk). I just want a refund since I gave your product back. There were no signs that said “No refunds accepted” so I fail to see why we couldn’t get a refund. Said he would work with us to find a different size but it’s hard to find bigger sized yukata.

Super friendly and very reasonable prices for awesome antiques. Accidentally left one of my purchases at the store and the owner was extremely helpful and accommodating to get it back to me! I am excited to check back in the future to see what they have in store.

Hours are not accurate online or posted on their door, showed up at 1:30 on a Saturday, no one home. Hours on their Facebook state 11-4 on Saturdays, hours on the door say 10-3 on Saturdays.
Called the number 3 separate times, no answer over the course of over an hour, no call back. Owners clearly do not care about this business.

I shopped with them at the Japanese Festival in Duluth, GA on September 17th. I was charged twice on my credit card. I called and spoke to Paul and he said he would refund me the double charge. I have yet to receive said refund and now Paul is not returning my calls or texts.

Made a recent visit searching for a kotatsu table. Owner was very friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. While we did not find a kotatsu that day, we did find other treasures that we absolutely adore! Highly recommend a visit if you are looking for Asian treasure!

I looked this place up when I was visiting family nearby. It was hard to find and then, once I was inside, I found it to be disorganized and kind of dirty. I was also thrown off when I realized it's owned by a white guy instead of Japanese people. This on top of the otherwise subpar experience did not help with my impression of the store, to say the least. I'll try to find Japanese-owned businesses to support for when I'm looking for their things. I suggest others do the same. Hopefully those will be easier to find than this place.

This is a one of a kind store with the best and largest collection of Japanese antiques. The store is not huge, but it is packed with Japanese and Asian antiques for any taste and budget. You can spend $20 or $2000 depending on your budget, but whatever you are looking for the owner Paul will bend over backwards to help you find it and provide you all the background and history of the item you could want. This is a Mom and Pop type operation that puts their resources into the product and not a fancy showroom that results in some very reasonable prices on items that you cannot find elsewhere in the area, or would pay 2 or 3 times more in a fancy boutique antique shop.
