This is my first time using Beamer Auto. My car was misfiring. I called them to see if they service VWs. They confirmed they did. Took my car in. They did a diagnostic to confirmed the issue. I like the fact that they email the details of the repair(s) needed and you can approve via the email. I provided approval and they sent pictures of the parts that were removed to show you. They repaired my car and I was able to pay them online. I need additional work. I will use them again and recommend them to my friends and family. My first experience was a good one.

Great Experience!
Had an awesome experience at Beamer Auto. Aaron and Kevin were super helpful and honest about everything that needed to be done on my X5M. Came in for a twin turbo replacement, and they got it done fast and right.
They even gave me a ride home so I didn’t have to call an Uber — that’s next-level service. Plus, they worked with me to get the best price possible. Highly recommend these guys if you want honest, professional BMW work done right.

I had a great experience with Beamer Auto! I brought in my BMW M6 for repairs and was thoroughly impressed with the service. Aaron was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process — very knowledgeable, transparent, and easy to communicate with. The work was completed quicker than I expected, and the quality was top-notch. Highly recommend Beamer Auto if you’re looking for reliable and professional service!

Review of Beamer Auto, Aaron Lane, Clinton MD
I rarely write reviews, and I especially dislike leaving negative ones, but auto repair is expensive, and it all comes down to trust. I’ve been taking my vehicles (BMW X5 and Mercedes E350) to Beamer Auto since 2022. Up until recently, they consistently provided good service at a fair price. Unfortunately, my last two experiences have completely changed my opinion.
About 8 months ago, I brought in my X5. Communication was poor—I had to call several times just to get updates and an estimate. Since I trusted them from prior service, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to a bad day.
This last visit today, with my E350, however, was unacceptable. I emailed in advance detailing the issues and received a confirmation for a 10 AM appointment on Thursday, September 18. When I arrived, the front desk person (Aaron) asked me to repeat everything instead of checking the email. I explained two issues:
1. The driver seat not returning fully upright (a sensor recalibration Beamer had fixed for me two years ago).
2. The passenger side headlight was flickering and going out intermittently.
I was told I’d get a call with an estimate. Hours passed with no update. I called around 3:30 PM, no answer, and their voicemail was full. Eventually, they called me back but admitted they hadn’t even looked at my car yet. Approx 4:30, I called again, because they close at 5:30. This time, Aaron said they wouldn’t get to it that day but promised it would be checked first thing in the morning.
The next day, still no call all morning. Frustrated, I drove 40 minutes back to the shop around 1 PM to pick up my vehicle. My car was sitting exactly where I left it. After waiting while Aaron looked at the computer and asking me the same question again about my car, I was told they couldn’t fix the seat issue and that I’d need to go to the dealer (even though they had repaired the exact same problem less than two years ago). Then he incorrectly stated it was my driver-side headlight that was bad, when in fact it was the passenger side—the issue I had clearly outlined multiple times.
Despite their lack of communication, inaccurate assessment, and the fact that my car hadn’t moved, I was charged $158.75 for a diagnostic check. Based on my experience, I don’t believe they even looked at the vehicle.
After three years as a loyal customer, Beamer Auto has lost my trust and my business. If you’re considering them, proceed with caution—buyer beware.

Took my car here a couple months ago so they can diagnose and fix a fuel supply warning that displayed while I was driving which caused my car shutdown. They gave me multiple reason that didn’t make sense as to why my car is not working such as my start and stop button is faulty and my door sensors are bad! After more test they determined it was my car battery. Also, when I came to pick my car up I had damage to the lower part of my vehicle, the only reason I noticed the damage is because I had someone follow me from there parking lot and from trailing me they noticed my under carriage was hanging sweep the street which prompt me to stop and check. Before I even made it to Old branch ave I turned around and told staff. They told me I could’ve just ran over something before going to their cameras. Eventually they gave me some money back off of the service I just paid for. Yesterday my car shut off again on 210 displaying the same warning. I do not recommend this company.

I went here to have a oil leak repaired, I paid $294.00 dollars which included diagnostic of the car, brake light wasn't on when I came there but when I got into my car, surprise! the brake light was on, I ask for the light to be removed and almost got into a physical altercation with the mechanic, it gets better. The next morning I pull out of my driveway to discover that I still have the oil leak that I just paid to be repaired! They can keep the change! I would not recommend or return to this place. Ghetto and unprofessional, if zero stars was available I would definitely give this place 0 stars.

Please share any identified issues that you notice to your clients, no matter the cost of the repair. Based off of the pictures that I’ve been sharing, there was an oil leak, as well as a coolant leak all along. After the poor Google review I posted yesterday, and bringing my car back in again today - Your mechanic quickly identified the oil leak, which was shown in previous pictures, but never explained to me. Providing detailed information will limit confusion, frustration, and poor reviews.

The service was great. I knew I needed a thermostat, so when I took my car in, they did diagnostic to confirm that I needed the thermostat. The work was done. What I like most about them, they showed me pictures of my engine to say I have an oil leak, and I needed to have it done soon. Good job, I didn't feel pushed to have the work done right away. I will go back for Beamer to do the repair. Thank you Beamer Auto.
