Ok, so first and foremost, I just want to say thanks again to the team for helping me on Saturday and also for apologizing and correcting any issues. I won a bid on Saturday for a 2004 Volkswagen SUV, and the car didn't start at first; it had to be jumped, and upon leaving, I knew that I would not be able to drive it back home, so I was advised to go back to the lot and was able to pick a different car. Before coming to the auction, I bought a car from an online auto auction last year, which was pretty much a waste of money, and I knew I never wanted to buy a car from another auction, plus I saw mixed reviews, but now all I can say is I LOVE BRANCH AVENUE auction. I picked a 2003 Saturn, and it started right up with no clicks or clacks, and all that was needed was a full tune-up. Now the service engine light soon went off, and I got the vehicle registered today on a Tuesday. It's been driving smoothly since Saturday, and I passed inspection today as well, so now I'm good to go on getting the car registered for 2 years. I am in love with my purchase, and I would most definitely come here again because, although the first car wasn't good, they acknowledged, apologized, and corrected their mistake, and I couldn't be happier. Me and my baby now have a reliable car I'm so grateful! I was also told to call in a week or 2 to give an update on how everything is going with the car and I can't wait to spread the good news!

The receptionist is such a douche. He literally said "hey im open to take offers" and then when you offer him something, he makes up some excuse that he can't accept anything. And then, if that wasn't anything bad, he won't even let you test drive anything. Half the cars here have a big markup and the fees make the cars price higher than what they're worth. How will you say you take offers yet you then make up some lies saying oh you won't earn anything. The seller of the car doesn't even want that huge amount according to him, but since it's "his lot" he charges these dumb prices. Go take your money elsewhere.

They were great. They sold me a 2015 E250 van. The van is in excellent shape. I will definitely continue purchase vehicles from them.

They ask too much money for the down payment and their car years and miles is not even good still the sales people want higher downpayment and higher monthly payments

There are some good buys there but do some research. Biggest problem is the employees will work as shill bidders on their days off. Seen it multiple times.

I bought a car from them 5 years ago. The car is now 18 years old and still running in great shape.

No stars is more like it. I bought an '04 GMC Envoy that listed as $3600 and ended up paying $4450 from here and not even three hours later I had to buy a new battery, $173. Some mechanics visiting Autozone said that it was a false start battery. Next, I notice that my gas isn't filling up, there's a fuel leak, that's $50 down the drain. Inspection sticker says 03/22, so it hasn't even been inspected this year, come on folks can we not have some honesty in the business? Two weeks later I'm at a mechanic to replace three sensors and to fix the leak, $593. I haven't even gotten a regular service yet so I'm not looking forward to the cost of that. Even though this is an "as is" location I will still be suing them. You'll be hearing from my lawyer soon

I asked if I could get a pre-purchase inspection and was assured that the car had already been inspected before coming to the auction. I was assured nothing was wrong with the car and it was good to go; so I purchased the car. When I took it to the mechanic he found that the battery was dead, the exhaust needed to be replaced, the brakes were no good, and there was unsalvageable rust all over the main frame of the car (some of which could not be fixed); some of the rust had been covered with tape. I was informed that even if I spent thousands of dollars to replace these things there was no guarantee that it would be in good condition. The mechanic warned me not to put any more money into the car and just try to get rid of it any way I could.

As mentioned in other posts, I was also skeptical about purchasing a vehicle through an unknown business other than a dealership. The process may be considered to be a bit unorthodox but the vehicle I purchased turned out to be a “diamond in the rough”! Thank you Kenny for your honesty and thank you for making the experience with purchasing my daughter’s 1st vehicle (Volkswagen Beetle) a successful one! BTW, my mechanic said the car was a great find. My daughter and I are pleased we made the choice to buy from Branch Ave Auto Auction!

I wasn't expecting the van I bought to last a lifetime, but it didn't even last a week. The head gasket blew on my mini van before I could even get the title for it, or register the van. Don't recommend buying anything from here. My savings are gone and I am once again carless. This place is very shady. Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable dealership.

❗️UPDATE ❗️UPDATE ❗️UPDATEDid not have the car 6 MONTHS and it is non-driveable. Not even worth finding out why (see post below). The rep sold us a piece of junk, and it is headed to the junk yard now. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS. You can thank me later.[Original Post Below]The rep. at this place totally and grossly misrepresented the vehicle I purchased to the extent that taken on the whole, could amount to fraud. If you are looking for a car from an auto auction DO NOT GO HERE! See advice to find a reputable company below. I purchased a 2006 Hyndai Sonata for my son for $2,900 + $500 buyers fee and ended up with over $3,000 in repairs for the car to pass inspection and have an oil leak fixed. The car is worth approximately $3,200 in good condition blue book. In the same week I purchased the car, I found out the oil leak was NOT A MINOR repair - $1775 - all gaskets needed to be replaced manifolds, etc. PLEASE TAKE YOUR MECHANIC IF YOU GO HERE BECAUSE THEY DONT LET YOU DRIVE CARS. Also in the same week I took the car to get inspected. I then had to add on $1,500 more to pass inspection and that’s after the check engine light came on. My son has not been able to drive the car for weeks because we were trying to work with the rep. to rectify this bad deal. He did not follow through. My son worked hard to save money and I thought this business was in the community to help. Now my son is stuck with something that requires way more money than the rep. stated. Not to mention the fact that the car was purchased because The rep. said the following: (1) car was good and only been driven highway miles; (2) 2021 inspection from PA essentially means you should pass Maryland; (3) car only required minor repairs a pc valve gasket, and (4) he [company] inspects the cars. I have witnesses for all of this. I’m now at $6,000 for this car and counting. THIS SHOP TOOK MY SON’S MONEY AND LEFT HIM HIGH AND DRY. THEY DO NOT CARE. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER AUTO AUCTION. This is not a business that operates in good faith. SO SAD. GOOGLE OTHER AUCTIONS: auction cars near me. You will find so many and not have to waste your time here. DO NOT DO IT! #cancelthisdump
