BRING YOUR OWN BAGS! …Otherwise you will be forced to buy the $1.00 bags for your things and carry them in hand. Spent hundreds of dollars and then had to buy the bags so I wouldn't look crazy trying to haul my items out the store. They said regular bags would not be available until after the holidays….real convenient way for them to milk more money out your pockets. The workers were nice, but more concerned about taking pictures than helping the customers. Very unprofessional.

This store is messy. There's Loss prevention standing by the doors checking bags, and their bathrooms are locked. Staff is very rude and condescending. I got told (I was talking to her not to you) just mentioning the bathrooms. When I said I was going to make a complaint, she came running after me saying what? Why? It has to be one of the worst Burlington stores I've been in. The cashier Jenis was the only pleasant one I encountered.

Unfortunately, I had the pleasure of Helen checking me out. I was waiting in line with over 5 people and only one person checking out. Helen, I assume was back up and approached the registers to assist her coworker with a nasty attitude and rude demeanor. When she called on me, she didn’t greet me just begin tossing my things on the counter as she located the tags. Slamming my things on the counter. She was rude as heck and she needs better customer service skills. I told her there was no need to be rude, then she slammed my receipt on the counter instead of placing it in my hand. Let’s get Ms. Helen some more training and as an older black woman, Ms. Helen do better!!

Someone please show the loss prevention lady some manners! I just asked a simple question “If they only had one cashier or if she could call for help”. She answers “What do you see? …1. That’s all we have.”
You would think an older lady would be more friendly. I guess she was too busy listening to music on her headphones. To call for help.

Great large department store in the area. They sell both female male and children clothing and all things in the home also shoes. Nice affordable prices. Recommend highly.

I had a great experience with Dorothy the cashier today. She was personable and made me feel wonderful. She deserves a reward because it's hard to find good customer service in PG County.
Update
- Almost 4 months later I happened to checkout with Dorothy again and she still has the best attitude and customer service in the county so I hope her leadership sees this and shows her some recognition.

Their surveillance system is terrible. They suspect customers for no reason, claiming you took their items without leaving the store. Even after you’ve paid, the next time you return, they might accuse you, saying they have a video of you stealing. It’s an extremely frustrating and unfair experience.

Nice place with a great selection. The home goods area is disorganized.

This place is a literal disaster. I sat on a display chair and it collapsed underneath me. I injured my back, knee, and shoulder. The sales associate’s response to me was “there was supposed to be a sign that says don’t sit because this has happened before”. The managers said someone would contact me regarding the incident. It has been a week and I haven’t received a call. I’ve been in pain due to their negligence. Needless to say they have lost a customer permanently and I will encourage everyone I know to never shop there again. Honestly I wonder why they are still in business - the store is run down and unorganized. Stay away from this place. In the same shopping center you can easily go to Marshall’s or Ross instead. Burlington is trash. Never again!

I found a bag of toddler clothes with original tags and receipts, which I purchased in 2020. I had no problem with them honoring the return. Although they didn't offer cash back, I was given a store credit (gift card).

Very rude and condescending male cashier and denied use of restroom while shopping. Left the store and spent my money on a big purchase next door, Ross, with an employee greeting me since entering the store, a team that was very pleasant, and had no issues with allowing me, a customer, use their bathroom. Burlington in Clinton needs to hire well equipped employees with extensive training in customer service and good manners, if they really want to stay in business. Thumbs down for this Burlington.

Much needed cashiers. If you have to wait an hour in line what's the point in coming here. My money can be spent elsewhere and time is valuable.
