I love going to Clinton Hardware when I need something. I feel confident in the advice or recommendation that is given. Just recently, I came in and needed a light bulb to match a given socket. The gentleman that assisted me, suggested different ones, and we found just the right one. He also helped me pick out a lock for my scooter. Their knowledge and helpfulness is so much appreciated in this day when customer service seems to be a lost art.

The Clinton Do It Best Hardware store is incredible. The folks are always so friendly and helpful. Time and time again I’ve come here to find stuff and it’s always in stock and super easy to find. When time is money, these folks will always get my business because they save me time and headache while running my own business. This locally owned hardware store is what all hardware stores should strive to be.

As a mechanic, the existence of knowledgeable Hardware shop keeps is invaluable. Especially if they are well supplied with a myriad of useful Knick nacks. It should be illegal for a heavily populated city not to have one.

Neat and organized. I don't have to rummage through to find items. Convenient located. Free parking. Can handle most hardware needs. Staff is verse on most DIY projects. A ray of sunshine 🌞

Very welcoming staff. It was the only place I could make a copy of an old key that I needed and could not get a copy anywhere. I am happy I found this place. The process was fast and convenient. I will come back.

I came here to get an adapter for my portable washing machine that goes on the end of my kitchen Faust.I couldn't find it in any of the big box stores & I kept ordering them wrong online.It came down to my neighborhood hardware store that had it & fixed my problem right away. Clinton Hardware.Also the replacement adapter purchased from them was way better then what came factory with the washing machine.I cant help to mention the awesome customer service and attentiveness they were to help me. I was in and out.Speaking for myself, I kind of for get about these neighborhood gems. They get lost behind all the big box store names like Lowes & H-Depo. Plus I wouldn't have gotten this type of service and friendliness out of any of these stores and we all know that.I could tell they were happy to help me fix my issue.Cuz I was stressingI promise you & neverminded how we got here Andrews Ridge Apartments, thanks to the people at Clinton Hardware, you guys can rest easy on this subject now, I'm sure you cared more than ya showed it.Anyway , thanks again Clinton Hardware.You nailed it and Im washing clothes again as we speak.

I bought 8 individual bolts and spacers for a table leg I was repairing. I only needed 2 spacers and bolts and tried to return the unused pieces.On the receipt, it says, " No returns/exchanges only on nut/bolt bulk items."The guy who helped us find the items was also the same guy I talked to when I tried to return the items. He said, " I know it doesn't say it anywhere when you walk in, but it does say it in the aisle.I've done business here before, but believe me, I will not spend any more money to support this local hardware store. I will gladly go to Lowes, and I'll also direct others to Lowes. I'm all for supporting the little guy over big corporations but not with return policies like this.

Clinton Hardware store has my five star rating. This is a small family owned business that has been in the neighborhood for over 75 years. They are well stocked and is always willing to assist you when needed. We all should support the small businesses.

My go to place for getting keys made. Good selection of hardware store items for a non-big box store. The staff is generally ready to greet you shortly after arrival and typically available to assist if needed. Feels like a hometown hardware store even though it's in the burbs of the DC metro area.
