I left because they’re so unprofessional. They’re late and they’re dishonest. I was recommended and I don’t understand why. The short lady in the corner who does weaves overbooked and had too many people waiting. She was so focused on getting money. I noticed it while I was sitting down waiting to get styled.The other lady who is the first one you see when you come in the building is rude. I didn’t like how she spoke to a client. You don’t do that! They have hair all on the sofas too.No one ever answers the phone either.It’s a reason why there aren’t any recent good reviews.Service: Hairstyling

My daughter had a 1pm appointment for cornrows (no added hair). Teri didn’t start washing her hair until 35-40 min later because she had two other clients to finish.Let me beat her to the punch: She claims in the texts that she gave a deep conditioner as a favor because it was needed. However, I was asked by a relative “did she wash her hair?” She also said she charges extra to detangle, which she decided not to charge me. I didn’t see that fee on her styleseat account. You have to detangle a black girl’s hair during the washing process. It’s normal! I didn’t message her on Monday because it was a holiday; according to her that’s my fault.Teri left the salon for 30 minutes to get food. When she returned at 2:45 (again, my appointment was at 1) I had to politely interrupt her because she was talking to a woman as if my daughter was not sitting in the chair waiting. I told her I needed to go to work and was hoping to be done by 3:30. Expecting a child’s hair to be washed and cornrowed in 2.5 hours is logical when her hair is not to her waist. But Teri claims I gave a “time constraint.” “You were in a hurry that day.” But when I said the style looks rushed, she said she wasn’t rushing. Those phrases sounds like she was justifying why she was rushing. If she didn’t rush then it’s horrible that my daughter’s hair looked like that on the third day. I rue the fact that I paid $55. Styleseat pulls the money directly so I was beleaguered.She practically spent 80 minutes working on my daughter’s hair when we were there from 1-3:41.When I texted her my concerns (pictures are from 3 days after her appointment) she insinuated twice that my daughter must have messed up her hair by doing activities such as “swimming, rough housing, neglect, excessive sweating, etc.” This isn’t her first time getting cornrows and I get cornrows regularly. Although I’m not a stylist “with over 20 years of service,” I know how to protect the style and I know how it should look 3 days later. I wanted her hair to look nice for the first day of school because I unfortunately can’t cornrow.I was offered a $15 refund if I give a good review on styleseat. Now I’m wondering how she has strictly 5 stars from 200+ people.I was texting my friend while sitting in the salon so I have proof with time stamps! Teri shirked the accountability for poor time management skills and poor workmanship!Service: Hairstyling

The master stylist herself Tetra is always late, my appointment was at 8:30 and she got there at 9:35, not to mention she doesn't listen to her clients. I went to her years ago and decided to give her a try again only for her not to listen to me about my hair color nor did she style my hair the way I asked and showed her the pictures of. She was moving sooo fast that she put the wrong color in my hair first and then had to redo it not to mention she played totally d*** when I told her she had cut too much of my hair off. Trust and believe I won't be returning to her even if she was the last stylist on earth. No apology or anything but apparently she can afford to loose clientele. She gets no stars for her services, don't worry there are people out here that offer much better service and professionalism where I will be spending my money. Won't get me twice!!! Make her your last option or learn how to do your own hair!!

I love the way she does hair but I hate waiting 8 hours to get my hair done. It also doesn't help when the stylist is late and you sitting outside. I'm spending too much money for that.

I was a new client. My sister has been following her for some time and I wanted to give her a try. I first went to her shop last summer but she was on vacay just to give u a time line of how long we have watching. Well last Sat. my sister and I had an 11:30 am appt. and at 4:30 we still had Not been seen(no, shop not crowded). My sister asked for a short cut with Dark under tone and Silver on the top. She got short cut and Blonde (not even the style of the cut asked). I
