“Fantastic place to shop, and the staff was amazing ? ? especially Raynice. I hope I spelled her name right, but anyway, she was my cashier and had the sweetest attitude ever, which made my shopping experience that much more appreciated ? ?”

“Small and niche thrift shop! Definitely one of the best ones I’ve been too out here in southern Maryland! It’s also in a great location! Decent prices and great quality items! Look forward to going again! Staff was also really nice and helpful!”
“I will be donating 2 BIG BAGS OF SHOES IN CLOTHES to this organization for the 2nd time I love how they give back to the community I love that they give vouchers for items ppl donate for the ppl in need in I love that my clothes in shoes I didn’t want to throw away is going to be used by others makes me feel proud in I’m so happy for the opportunity to give back to the communities. I originate in MD but I love DC so I try to help everywhere but this is my favorite place for drop off”
“This is one of my favorite thrift stores in Southern Maryland. The store is huge and they have a large variety of quality items at excellent prices. If you download their rewards app, you can also earn some additional coupons. Great place to make donations also.”
“****Military Thrift Store - Not Open to the Unauthorized****I love this store!! I've gotten items at great deals and bargins. Friendly staff. Lots of variety.”
“Their hours a limited, like all NMCRS thrift stores (Tue., Thu. 1100-1300; 1st Sat. of the Month 1000-1400) but it's the only one in the DC area. They have a whole room dedicated to Navy and Marine Corps uniform items. If you need extra khakis or whites, check this place out first before going to the uniform store. Occasionally they'll have bridge coats or pea coats or even mess dress (typically only men's though). I've been told there are other thrift stores with a better selection of women's uniforms but this is the closest one to me and it's better than nothing! They also have a variety of rank devices, ribbons, metals, belts, and all those other small uniform extras that you'll inevitably loose and need to replace. Also a great place to donate rank items when you promote (including the ones that you might have to sew on!) In addition to uniforms, they also have a decent selection of clothing. They have small collections of toys, books, and housewares, and try to set up a seasonal display. Items will be discounted towards the end of the season and prices are generally fair for a thrift store. They just recently started accepting credit cards and were previously cash or check only which is a huge and much appreciated change. You need a military ID to purchase uniform items and base access to get to the thrift store, but it's a great bonus for the local military community.”

“Service is rather poor with all the younger, surly and unprofessional younger folks working there now.
They seem to make up rules as they go along...
But you can get a few bargains.”
“I couldn't wait to get home to give this review. I've never been in a thrift store before but I needed some slacks for the low for a wedding next month. First of all the people were lined up waiting for the store to open like the new Jordan's had just come out ?? The store is very clean and neat! Organized very well. It was easy to find the section I was looking for. I saw a pair of slacks that a liked but to be sure I headed to the dressing room. A young man politely unlocked a room for me. The pants fit perfectly!!! I headed to checkout. My pants didn't have a price so I was a little anxious. Some isles have prices on the end cap for the whole isle and some items have color coded tags on them. The young lady at check was very nice and professional and explained everything to me. I knew thrift store shopping would be less expensive but I was totally shocked. 3 bucks for some mint condition slacks?? I couldn't be more happy with my purchase today! I even gave a donation so you know I was in a great mood ?”
