Avoid running with this company; their coverage is insufficient to justify monthly payments. They prioritize the cheapest parts and lowest labor costs, often leaving you to cover most repair expenses. Consider saving that money in an account for future repairs instead.

Paid almost as much as they covered when making a claim on my Mercedes. The hourly rate they pay and the length of time for a specific repair does not match what Mercedes has for their standard time. I would not recommend this warranty for higher end cars where shop prices are higher.

This company looks for anything not to pay a claim. They tell me the matter is closed because my mechanic refused to do what they asked. The reality is, my mechanic asked them what do they need for the inspection. All the adjuster did was complain that I filed a claim three months after my policy took affect.When I called Carchex to find out the status of my claim they gave me a totally different story than what they told my mechanic. They demanded three years of service records. Then claimed i never sent the records. I used the email they provided! The hoops they expect car owners to jump through is CRAZY! DON'T BUY FROM CARCHEX!

CARCHEX IS 100% PURE ***GARBAGE***Please DO NOT GET THIS WARRANTY COMPANY!! I was a year into the policy and my A/C compressor went out. I filed a claim and once it GOT TO THE ADJUSTER WHO SUPPOSED TO PAY FOR THE CLAIM THEY DENIED IT! THE ADJUSTERS WILL USE EVERY EXCUSE TO NOT PAY THE CLAIM. I went to 3 different mechanics over a 30 day period including the dealership and everyone said the same thing that the A/C compressor was NOT WORKING AND THEY STILL KEPT DENYING THE CLAIM AND THE A/C compressor IS SUPPOSED TO BE COVERED ON MY POLICY. I paid close to $1000 out of pocket for diagnostics per a loyalty department customer service representative advice. I cancelled with them and I'm waiting on my refund. IF I DON'T GET THE PERCENTAGE OF MY REFUND WHICH IS 90% for Florida THAT'S OWED TO ME THEN IM GETTING A LAWYER AND SUING CARCHEX AND POSTING MORE BAD REVIEWS EVERYWHERE I CAN!!! PLEASE DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME WITH CARCHEX SAVE YOUR OWN MONEY IN CASE OF A BREAKDOWN CARCHEX IS A TOTAL RIP-OFF!!!!!

This company sucks. Customer service sucks. Tried to cancel my policy they cut the call and kept dropping my calls. Called on a different number for them to answer and they did. Then I canceled the policy the agent on the other end is trying ways for me not to cancel but I still want to end the policy. He said he we send me an email confirmation that they cancel the policy but until now they never send me any email. Don't waste your money on company like this. They just want your money and don't care about you.

So my expectations and my experience with car Chex is the same a car shield they are not worth the payments made to them. They do not cover all the things the titanium Warranty that I purchased the Ajuster has been looking for way to get out of payment the shop which my vehicle has been sitting at in Beltsville which is very reputable and reasonable PERFECT AUTO has earned my business for life. This warranty I just want my money back I shall find a way this is ridiculous.

Total scam! They will do everything possible to not pay your claim! Wait times are horrendous. If it's a covered part they'll ask for maint. records. When you provide records they come up with another reason. Meanwhile you are without a car for days before they deny your claim.

Omg, this was one of the best customer service conversations I've ever had!! She was easy to talk to and explained everything to me so clearly and even gave me a discounted price. It was like I was was speaking to an old friend or family member because of her tone and misdemeanor. She could see I really needed the services but also needed something to fit my budget. I'm glad I made this important purchase because car repairs are Expensive, thank you!!

Do not buy from these guys. They didn't tell me that another company was going to manage the policy - American Auto Shield. Check them out online 1700+ BBB complaints. My dealership refused to work with them since they haven't paid their bills.Avoid these guys.

As most of you have mention the sale pitch is awesome but they fail to tell you; are they are saiding there speech so fast that you don't understand YOU must have a year worth of receipts where you have been maintaining your car for a year! my exspection sticker exipired just as the same time as my car stop working. They denied my claim stating my expection sticker was expired. After reading the contact more closer I notice they should to give you a 60 day grace period. I appealed the denial and won. They tried to get me in everyway they could. I called my mechanic and asked him to fax me the receipts for my service over a year period! Thank God he had them. They gave me such a hasel!!!!!!! They ended up paying my claim but it wasn't an easy process at all! They added to the stress I was already feeling because of my car Oh, the rental car process is a joke. They have some book that they use to determine how long it should take to repair your car. If your mechanic only has only your car to work on it's ok. However many places have more than one car to work on. I would have stick with them but after what they put me though , they are crazy!

Customer service is terrible. I called one number which was the payment department to cancel my policy due to financial reasons, the lady I spoke to had an attitude and was smart mouth. She then hung up on me even though she said she'll transfer me to the department. I called another number and spoke to a guy who canceled my policy but instantly hung up on me after he said his routine speech they always say. I am glad I canceled my policy now, I don't want to do business with rude customer service reps. Bad customer service here. Also, the policy I had does not cover repairs to my BMW that is needed. They charged me $265 a month with no coverage for what's needed to be repaired. I paid out of pocket for my repairs, I wasted money getting the policy.

I just signed up with this company and they were very professional and polite. I don't know what their service would be like and hope to never need it. I am aware of the negative comments but know the company's side is not stated,- so don't know how legitimate they are.
