Worst mistake I ever made. Maintenance is clueless, on how to fix any issue. They barge into your apartment at least once a month. they have left my door unlocked and opened on multiple occasions. Please if stay away!!! I hope I’ve saved you guys some headache.

I have rodents in my walls for the last 2 months, and the exterminator/Maintenance coordinators continue to push the issue week by week. I will be making requests to agencies to correct this longer term issue, but I will not be renewing my lease once expired. Imagine living with rodents scratching in your walls for two months, running around in your ceiling, and running in the Air Ducts.

Im the six months I’ve lived here I have been without hot water probably 8 times. They keep putting a bandaid on the problem instead of fixing it so you’ll never know when after or before work you won’t be able to bathe. They also never responded to the threeEmails I sent about my neighbor stealing mail and stalking me. Find somewhere else trust me.Response: after three attempts to contact you I just had the police handle my neighbor issue. What I would like handled is the HOT WATER SITUATION. I am again 6am before work without hot water. Maintenance was here last week. This is unacceptable.

I have reviewed Whispering Hills which is a Henderson-Webb property and I will be posting this in as many places as I can.Update 11/2/2023 - Maintenance/Rental Office has not rectified any issues I presented below, the biggest issue being leaks into my bathroom from the unit above. Despite contacting the email they referred to in the reply below, nothing has been addressed. They sent me a later stating repairs were made but as of today, I have another leak and they claim 'they couldn't find the issue' when maintenance came. There's water in the bucket that I have to now leave there because water can leak from the unit above at any time. THEY DO NOT CARE. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I cannot wait to leave, if I could leave sooner I would.Original Review:I have lived here for over a decade and I can confidently say that if you can find somewhere else, please do. The condition of these apartments has been on the constant decline for years. It was once a nice, quiet and friendly place to call home. That is no longer the case. The hallways used to be cleaned at least monthly, no longer. The controlled access door to the building is often broken. The laundry rooms are disgusting, I haven't washed there in years. Hot water will stop working at any time and they don't communicate when that happens. Mice were a problem at one point. Walls are thin and if you have noisy neighbors, do not look to management to help you remedy that situation, they simply send a letter and tell you to call the police if it persists. My apartment has sustained leaks from another unit off and on for over 6 months and all they have done is paint over parts until one leak was too extensive, they were forced to replace walls. At this point I'm waiting for another leak to happen because repairs aren't done properly and residents face no consequences for the damages they cause to other apartments. They won't compensate you for any damage to your property either. Maintenance is lackluster, a mixture of not enough people and the management asking them to patch as much as possible without actually repairing anything. Calling resident services is hit or miss, maybe you'll get someone who cares or maybe you'll get someone who can't be bothered with you and talks condescendingly to you. It feels as though they're doing you a favor by even helping you. I have explained my issues by phone, by email and by letter only for them to address none of my concerns, they are committed to providing as little help as possible. The one constant is that your rent will increase every year no matter what with no upgrading of anything. I dread calling them for anything because you will get nothing for your time but agony. The neighborhood itself is the only redeeming thing about this complex. It's a lovely area to be in but that's it. Rent is lower here for a reason, if you can tolerate all of the above, then this place is for you.

High rodent infestations. Also expect an increase of rent with the situation not getting resolved. The excuse they give is "I have it noted here that you were not prepared and turned away exterminators". I turned them away after my baby attempted to eat the white powder placed. Rather have gotten my own exterminator and get reimbursed. They would have done the job with and placed all furniture back if able. Constantly emptying closets as a pregnant woman was the reason i went into labor. The mice litterally chewed away the paint at the bottom of the door. But you can tell by the layered paint that they simply repaint it after every tenant. Yuck. The back door to the patio wouldn't close fully. Meaning that the home was unsecured. The neighbors above us would let the dog urinate and defecate on the patio causeing anything we had outdoors to be ruined. Don't get me started on the smoke smell, my poor new born had to constantly breathe it in. The neighbor busted the glass outdoors getting into the building. Loud neighbors. The babies were constantly awaken. Waited a while to post this because I truly feel it wouldn't change anything. Wish I read the reviews before I moved in. Oh and warning ⚠️ the lease auto renews this is how they get you. Meaning after it was noted how miserable I was, I was stuck there to pay triple the cost because they didn't take the hint. And it wasn't a 90 day written notice. There is no reminder call or email. Because they are "too busy to keep up with us,"although I turned in the key as soon as the lease ended. Not sure if they got better. Rude attitudes from everyone. Police knocked on the door often. In search of people.

its been 96 degrees the past three days and my ac is out completely, no one has come out, no one has called for an update, nothing. Because i dont have a medical exception its not an emergency, i cant live like this.A MONTH LATER, my apartment is smelling like paint fumes and I called emergency and no one can give me an update/response. If I can get out of this lease, someone tell me how, its miserable

This place has been the WORST place to ever have resided at. There was a rodent of some sort in my sons room in the wall. I called the emergency line many times and there was zero sense of urgency. You could hear claws scratching on the inside of the wall of something trying to get out.. it was terrifying when I would go feed him a bottle in the middle of the night. Then the power goes out and the microwave stops working. No maintenance people have come out to look at it yet. How do you heat up food for your family without a microwave? You don’t. You have to stay elsewhere for a few days. But don’t worry you’ll still be paying an insane amount of money for rent. 10/10 do NOT recommend living here. Prices are insane and you definitely don’t get what you pay for. So disappointed to call this place home. Counting down the days til the lease is up.

Absolutely the WORST apt complex I’ve ever experienced. The neighbors love loitering and soliciting illegal products and the apartment complex allows them to do so. Maintenance enters your home UNANNOUNCED and also while your not there. The office staff is unprofessional and liars! If you want a nice quiet home with decency then DO NOT move here. I first moved in and the apartment was obviously not ready as my blinds were dirty and broken upon arrival. Maintenance barely cleans the building and tenants love to leave trash around. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend anyone to move here. It’s all a facade in the beginning and its a total nightmare.

So glad I was denied after reading these reviews. Oh, and whomever Ms. Brown is make sure when you send denial letters it's with the correct information. One minute I was denied because of false info provided to you all from my previous property management co in which I had proof on their letterhead that what they provided you all with was false, but the letter states due to my credit...When I was told it was because of the verification from my previous property co...Smh. Also, my previous company’s corporate office stated that you never even inquired about the letter they had given me. Doing the most over a property that’s crime, mice, and roach-infested (according to reviews). Seems a little bit over the top. ?

I know the low price is attractive, but if you can afford somewhere else to live, move there instead. I noticed the ceiling tiles were wet and that mold began to grow on 8/2/2021. I called maintenance and someone came and replaced the tiles the next day. On 8/12 I was awakened around 2:30 am when a ceiling tile fell in my master closet. This was followed by the sound of running water. I called the emergency hotline immediately and spoke with an operator. A few minutes later I received a phone call from maintenance and described the situation to him. He instructed me to turn off the a/c unit as that was probably the source of the leak. I followed his instructions and began to remove damaged personal items out of the closet. As of today, the ceiling tile is still damaged and the a/c doesn't work. I have called multiple times and left messages. The hold times to speak with live person is over an hour. If possible avoid moving into any of the Henderson Webb properties.

If I could give this place negative stars i would. 1st off the mice is terrible I have records everytime maintenance has been called of the mice. I have a 1 year old and they run around here like it's disneyworld!! They run along the walls while you're sitting in the living room watching TV. Maintenance has been out and they just keep filling the holes with mesh wire. It's not working!! I notified them I will be moving out at the end of my lease and they told me I have to give 90 days notice and that a letter was mailed out to me which I NEVER recieved. I have a letter dated august 15th. I emailed them August 11th stating I will not be renewing my lease. I emailed them soon as I got the letter in the mail and they saying I have to pay 2 months rent to buy out my lease. RUN RUN RUN!!! The neighbors downstairs smoke heavily and soon as they open the door of there apartment the hallways is smoke bombed with Newport smell. The A/C unit is very loud when in use. Avoid this place I know the cheap rent is tempting and it draws you in but you get what you paid for!!!!!! Pay the extra 200-400 and avoid this place!!!

So the water heater started leaking last week and actually got into my place. They replaced the water heater and put a fan to dry the carpet and wall in my place.Fast forward a few days later and the new water heater that they just installed is leaking. I called the emergency maintenance line to report it (which took about 5 minutes to get through all the prompts to report an emergency), submit a maintenance request online and nobody showed up. I called again and someone finally showed up just to tell me that they’re aware and there’s nothing that they can do about it until the contractors show up.Now I have to watch the water damage my carpet. This is ridiculous.

Slum lords. Run down properties, no actual maintenance. My gutters over flow. ac doesn’t keep up when temps hit the 90’s. The heat doesn’t warm the bedroom in the winter. The hvac sucks almost as much as the clueless office staff.
