“I don't leave reviews often (positive or negative, to be honest). But I've had a few fantastic experiences here, and this most recent one today inspired me to leave this review.

General Thoughts: Affordable oil changes and other basic services but the best part is that they are honest and fair with pricing and repairs.

Specific recent example: I took my car in today expecting something catastrophic to be wrong with my AC. After a brief wait, they came back and said it was just a dirty sensor and sent me on my way. ? No charge!!! (I had a free ac check coupon but it wasn't requested). I was incredibly happy and grateful that they didn't try to mark it up or make up some false issue to overcharge me.

So, I'm glad to repay their professionalism and kindness by being a return customer and leaving this honest and positive review.

“This is a business with honest people. A couple weeks ago, in a Saturday morning, I brought my 2012 Toyota RAV4 for checking of some suspicious noises when braking. The technician did a free of charge inspection and told me there is nothing wrong with the brakes. I am glad now I can drive the car with confidence.While waiting in their office, saw many technical certifications on the wall of the owner and technicians working there. Impressive.”

“On Sunday 10/13 on the way home to DC from a road trip, my car started flashing lights, specifically the AT Oil Temp light which meant I needed to pull off and stop driving. This shop was the closest to where we were, and although it was not open, they let me leave my car on their lot and fill out a form for their mechanic.

While the head mechanic was not in until Tuesday (10/16), he called my partner very quickly, diagnosed the issue, and said he could have it done by that evening. He personally went to the Subaru dealership to get the part, and like he said, the car was done that night. My partner handled the communications, so I am not sure who assisted, but based on the reviews, I am assuming it was Tek. He replaced my transmission valve body ($1,180), valve body gasket ($15), and valve body wiring ($76). All in all, the total labor cost was $360, bringing my total with tax to $1,732.

The repair was done fast, and based on my research, at a very fair price. My car is now running smoothly, and I don't foresee there being any further issues. If I am to ever have an issue with my car again. I will absolutely bring it back to this shop.

“We were visiting Washington DC for a conference jn our Honda sedan when our car battery died while parked at Greenbelt Metro station (parked under summer heat for 5 days). After failing to jump start our car, we got our car towed to another local auto shop, where they quoted us $838 to change both the battery and alternator. After we were quoted, we called Jungs Auto Services, where Andy helped us in his very calm voice initially diagnose the problem over the phone and said we probably don’t have an alternator issue (given charge test levels we shared). So we brought our car over to Jung’s, where Andy properly diagnosed the problem. All we needed was a battery change. We got a very reasonable quote and were serviced right away for our 6-hour return drive.

TL;DR: Jung’s Auto services has prompt, competent, and trustworthy services and they fully deserve our five stars for helping us in our emergency as out-of-towners.”

“This review is specifically for the service associate Ronald and the mechanic David. I had been coming to this location on and off for years. Ronald was the first time I could recall where I had someone assist me who was exceptionally attentive. I needed repairs that would take a while and stayed on-site until finished. The other associate kindly gave me a quiet space to work on my laptop for meetings I had all morning, and another complimented me on how comfy and cute my scrubs were! Ronald was thorough, kept me up to speed on everything that was occurring with my car, and informed me on how long things could take. He would peek in on me to make sure all was well and asked if I could help the mechanic find what they needed for my tires inside my car so they wouldn’t have to dig through my glove compartment. That’s when I met David and got a full 360/top-to-bottom view of my vehicle & what was needing repairs. David was so knowledgeable, kind and patient to provide me with an educational moment. I know nothing about fixing cars really, and let me tell you I learned a lot from him that morning! At the end, Ronald made sure I had enough time for a quick wash, vacuum, & tire shine. He also offered me a delicious oatmeal cookie that I couldn’t resist!
