Best Western Plus College Park Hotel is a good choice for travelers looking for affordable accommodation near Washington DC. The location offers easy access to the city, about a half-hour drive, and is suitable for a short stop or travel. The hotel provides clean and comfortable rooms, which are well-maintained and spacious, with essential amenities like a hairdryer and conditioner. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, making their stay more enjoyable, although some mention that the staff can seem a bit robotic. The hotel features a top-quality breakfast with a variety of options, including eggs, vegetables, fruits, yogurt, coffee, and bread. The pancake automaat was a highlight for many visitors. Safety is enhanced by camera surveillance, giving guests peace of mind. Parking is free and easily accessible, with a visible permit required for entry. Walkable areas nearby include a supermarket and some eateries. However, the hotel is somewhat isolated from various activities, and the bathroom and parts of the living area may show signs of aging. There's no coin laundry facility on-site, which some guests would find convenient. Overall, the hotel is a good place for a comfortable stay, offering good value and a friendly atmosphere.
Clean place, warm water, decent breakfast. Don't expect a 5 star hotel. But definitely worth it for a quick night rest.
