I just made a reservation at the college Park Maryland location and received a confirmation. I was about to Uber and luckily called to confirm and was told they have no cars. My payment had already gone through pay pal and I had to beg customer service to cancel and refund my charge. I will never use them again. How do they send a confirmation when they have no car?

Ruined my holiday. I arrived only to find out that the car I reserved is not available. After an hour I’ve been given a 12 seater to drive to another Budget location with the claim they have cars available. Guess what - they don’t!Most people I talked n the phone couldn’t care less. When they check availability at other locations to fix their mess, they can’t reserve a car for you.The gentleman at the branch did however really care and did his best to help. I am sorry he is working for Budget. He is the only star of this review .

Obi has been excellent!! He is extremely professional, understanding, and goes out of his way to work with you. He is such an asset to this specific branch and the owners are lucky to have him as the face of their business.

Obi is such a great helper here!!! We made a reservation Saturday night and Sunday morning 9 am got our rented SUV. A smooth and comfortable experience. Everything clearly explained. Crystal clear price menu. What else do you need?

I rented a midsize SUV for the first time last week and was treated very nicely!Staff worker Obi helped me out tremendously and the price was way less than my Enterprise quote. Will definitely rent here again!!!

I had a confirmed reservation thru Priceline. When i went to pickup the car, the front desk person told me there is no car available. He said he called me and left a message...but his message was i am trying to reach you and not about car availability. Anyway when i called back, it was very hard to navigate the budget automated car voice assistant. The person at the front desk also told me he manages his center and cannot do much if budget has confirmed reservation...what? Is this how budget/Avis works now? Is the Avis/budget management reading these messages and getting ground situation...folks .. my advice don't book in off airport centers! Especially at 10000 Baltimore Ave md.

One star is even too high for our experience.We made a one-day reservation a week ago and the car was cancelled the night before the reservation. There is no way we can find any car in any other rental companies at that moment. The representative has a really bad attitude and does not want to help at all.Stay away from Budget to have a good life.

I wish I can give 0 star. I reserved a car a week head, and I even chose prepay option to secure the vehicle. Even with this, they called me one day before the pick-up date and said they don't have the car for me and I should call the customer service to get a refund. What's the point of the prepay option if they can not secure the car? Worst service I've experienced ever!!!

My husband made a reservation online after a disastrous experience at Enterprise down the street. So he makes the reservation, which goes through. He calls to make sure a car will be there, because of said bad experience at Enterprise and not willing to walk all the way for nothing. On the phone he's told that there is a car there for him. Good. He gets there, no car and nothing is open (he got there at his pickup time). After a one hour wait, someone comes over, tells him he has no car, that he tried to call him (?? How, my husband was there the whole time, nobody tried to call him bc there was nobody). So frustrating and awful experience, get your business somewhere else (but not to Enterprise on Baltimore ave either).
