“The five stars are for my salesperson. Service would get a two-star. I bought a refrigerator, oven and dishwasher from Paul Walterhoefer 2 years ago. He helped me select appliances for my kitchen remodel. My review does not reflect my service experience. June 2025 my freezer started icing over. it also affected the refrigerator and started freezing produce and other items. I have had the service department out numerous times (at least 7 times) to replace many different parts and the last time they came out with a part that they replaced first it back in June. I called Paul very frustrated. he looked into the issue and the same day he got my refrigerator replaced. Paul cares about his customers even after the sale. Service text that came out could learn customer service from Paul.”
“We used Exis General Contracting to remodel our newly purchased home. Exis was referred to us by family and friends. We had a great experience working with Owner, Peter Exis, Tameka, Office Administrator, and their Crew, lead by Giovanni, a skilled carpenter and project lead.
They made it easy to do business and the results were spectacular, they transformed our home into our dream home. Peter worked around our budget along the way and provided us with recommendations and solutions to meet both our vision and budget. We did not hire a designer, however working with Peter, who is also an artist, to design our kitchen and bathrooms was extremely helpful. The crew, lead by Giovanni, were great, respectful, patient with us, and had a great attention to details. The craftsmanship was on point and exactly what we envisioned.
The total cost was extremely reasonable for the scope of work we had done, which included, but not limited to; refinishing the hardwood floors throughout our home, two wall removals to open up our kitchen and foyer areas, refurbishing and refinishing our staircase with new balusters and knoll posts, four bathroom remodel (including our master bathroom), refurbishing and painting the basement bar, expanded kitchen remodel, and painting of all walls, doors (with new hardware replacement), trim, and all shutter blinds.
We were extremely satisfied with Exis General Contracting and will definitely continue to refer them to family and friends.”

March of 2024 I decided to proceed with my kitchen renovation and reached back out to Ms. Kaleigh for assistance. “As a contractor, we have had a lot of issues in the past with granite installs (scratches, uneven countertops) with deplorable material (not using the correct caulk). They did 2 installs for us and both countertops were installed to the best of quality. When there was a hiccup (a small imprefection), Edgar (the manager I think) got on the phone with me to resolved it quickly while even giving me the option of returning the entire countertop. We really appreciate that sort of communication and urgency. They also allowed us to send a custom sink over at their warehouse to be measured properly for the second install. We will definitely be using for our next builds.”
