My name is Meredith and my wife treated me to a wonderful massage at Massage Envy in College Park, MD. This has been one of the best service experiences I've ever had. Vayla, Miranda, Dana and Ta'Qiya all greeted me with friendly smiles and professionalism. The ambiance was very clean and relaxing. My masseuse Miranda provided me with a top notch massage experience. I felt like a brand new person when she was done and she also educated on how to deal with a tight ligament I've been experiencing in my arm for some time. Their dedication to excellent customer service and professionalism is second to none and reflects great credit upon themselves and the Massage Envy brand. My overall rating undoubtedly is 5 out of 5 stars without hesitating. Vayla, Miranda, Dana and Ta'Qiya all deserve big raises and the biggest recognition/honorable mention for their amazing friendly service, attentiveness and professionalism. Thanks Massage Envy for hiring these jewels of employee to represent your magnificent business! :o)

Excellent customer service at the front desk. The massage was good—-I was expecting a little more pressure as requested.

Massage was very nice, but not even close to deep tissue which I requested. Staff is friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere.

I've been a member of this location since 2019. The first year was awesome and I was able to regularly use my membership without issues. Since then it has turned into a one-sided situation, in which only Massage Envy benefits. Every month like clock work my $80 payment is taken from my account, which is an increase of $10 from membership initiation. I can seldom get an appointment. Just today I called, and per usual, I was told there are no openings until July. This means three more payments before I even have an opportunity to use the membership. I completely agree with other reviews that say there are not enough therapists to process demand. Further, they are now limiting the number of sessions you can have in a month or transfer, so catching up is impossible. I currently have 10 sessions I can't use, and just like clockwork, an 11th will be added on the 22nd. My hands are completely tied. I have invested $800 that will be gone upon cancelation. They say you have 60 days to use unused sessions, but are coincidentally booked out that far consistently, or so they say. It's clear there has been significant thought applied to making certain the membership benefits Massage Envy, with customers getting the shaft. I've had several conversations with team members to rectify the issue to no avail. Steer clear of membership folks.

Not good.Difficult to book in advance with Massage Envy and seems like all of the good therapists are booked almost immediately so you’re kind of left with whoever is available. I was able to book with Teressa who ONLY does light pressure massages (didn’t think anything of it since I generally don’t like massages that apply a lot of pressure). I was a little skeptical since she was the only therapist with openings at the college park area (not a great sign) but decided to take a chance anyways. I arrived 20min early to fill out the necessary paperwork and not miss out on any massage time. They didn’t get me into the massage room until 15min past my scheduled time and when I asked the therapist if this would affect my massage time, she responded (unkindly) that all 60min massages are 50min And didn’t give me any explanation or reassurance beyond that. It took me less than 5min to get ready for the massage so I have no idea why they dock a full 10min from the 60. The therapist was not friendly and did not communicate or ask about my needs at all throughout the session. I requested to have my neck, head, shoulders, and back focused on but she spent the most time on my legs. She never even touched my head during the whole time. She used a lot of oil but didn’t bother to wipe it off at all and, by the end, I was drenched and had to try to wipe it off before getting dressed again. It felt like she didn’t want to be there and just wanted to get it over with. Giving 2-stars because the front desk staff were kind enough to give a discount for the bad experience but, overall, the massage was not worth the amount spent. Some people can’t afford to enjoy massages frequently so, when they can, it’s disappointing to have these kinds of experiences.

Massage Envy subscriptions are useless. They don’t have enough therapist to handle their clientele. It’s hard to get an appointment and nobody at the College Park location seem to know how the subscriptions actually work. They’re too busy trying to get people to subscribe to a service they won’t be able to use. They make it impossible to cancel your subscription. You can’t cancel online and when I called they told me I had to complete a form before my cancellation could be considered. I received the form but it was a pdf that I couldn’t fill out. It took 2 months of me calling for them to finally cancel my subscription. I had 9 massages left and they told me I had 60 days to use them and I could transfer some. Well when I called another location I was told that I could not do any transfers once the subscription was cancelled and received correct info so I could try to use the remaining massages. I was able to make appointments at other locations.Stay away from ME or at least this location.

I agree at Rebekah's comment below. Avoid monthly membership!!! It's always some kind of confusion and specifically at this location, the person made my appointment on the wrong day, and I had to use one of the credits. It wasn't my fault the person making the appointment booked the wrong day. I have a few sessions left and can't wait to use them up so I can be done with this. Even when gifting a session, it's a $10 transfer fee. The session is already paid for-- why an extra fee??? It's just not convenient and a headache

This place is the absolute worst. They play games with paper work, they overcharge, and good luck getting appointments. Do your yourself a favor and walk away. I cancel leaving $400 of credits on the table. Well worth it to break away from the place. I wish never walked in 10plus years ago. But never again!! I wish I could leave a negative review but oh well.

Katie: The 30 minutes with her was great and I've booked an hour session with her. She explained what was being done and the reasoning behind it. She asked questions and listened to my responses. Katie was professional, kind, and informative. It was a great session.

Best manicure and pedicure I have ever had! I had Mandy, she is amazing. The pedicure was very relaxing, they offer wines and teas. She went above and beyond removing dead skin, any callouses and giving an amazing feet rub. My pedicure its gorgeous, I get so many compliments, she paid great attention to detail.

Fantastic location. Clean and organized. Staff is friendly and professional. Theresa, my therapist, was superb! I highly recommend. Covid precautions were within reason.

Avoid the membership at all costs - it is a vicious, predatory trap to take your money, cancel your appointments, and not have availability to rebook until after you've given them MORE money. They happily take money from your bank account and then are even happier to offer absolutely no refunds. I have nearly $400 of credits sitting in my account due to their cancelations, and they will do nothing to remedy the situation.

They don't have enough masseuses to cover the members. I just called (7/26) and they don't have an appointment until the end of September, meaning that 3 appointments will accrue before I can use even one. While they do have other locations, some have a higher fee structure so I'd have to pay more on top of my monthly membership in order to just use services. If thinking about joining, you should pause--ultimately until they get more staff hired, you'd be better off paying for single massages at a smaller, independent place.
