Had an awesome time. I’ve been visiting classes all over and I must say Emily is the best instructor I’ve ever worked with! Would definitely recommend her to my friends.

Posh is such a gem! I’m always welcomed with great energy and care. From the different classes, team events, to the trainers remembering your name — this place often times feels like a community. I would recommend Posh to anyone looking for a safe, inclusive, positive space when working out.

Posh is such a great place to work out! It has the community feel that is missing from so many other spin studios. I felt welcome the first day I stepped in, and now feel part of a family there. I love that it’s locally owned (and Black woman-owned!). Mel is always giving back to the community however she can. The studio is always clean, parking is never an issue, and you’re always greeted with a smile. All of the instructors and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and make working out fun! I definitely recommend Posh!

The instructors are so nice and welcoming! Mel helped me get set up on my bike at my first class and was really encouraging. I also love the yin yoga on Sundays and the other community events they hold!

I just happened to google cycling in my area and the jewel of a fitness center POSH pop up and I immediately scheduled an appointment to learn more. I met the owner, Mel and she was very personable and knowledgeable. The fitness studio is designed well for; a room for cycling and a room for other classes. The studio is very clean and there is plenty of parking. If you looking a fitness studio with a friendly environment and experienced instructors, this is your studio!

I love the variety of classes at POSH! If I feeling like aerobics, I can do that. If I want to cycle, I can do that. If I want some cycling with some resistance, I can do that. I absolutely love the mixture. The staff is always inviting and welcoming. The business is run so professionally. The owners are keeping the establishment clean and up to COVID standards. I truly appreciate that. They are checking for temperatures and handing out hand sanitizer once you walk in. Not only is POSH black owned, but reputable. This is the type of place you want to share with the masses.

This studio is a hidden gem - best spin classes in the College Park/Hyattsville area!! I started taking their spin classes last fall and loved them ever since. The instructors are knowledgeable, motivating, kind, welcoming and fun - I got great coaching tips from their classes (e.g. how to do harder cycling workouts without stressing my knees - important!). Mel, the owner, is an incredible instructor and also just a beautiful human being. Classes are motivating, skillfully led, and super fun - solid set of regular fitness classes, fun special event/classes, and awesome community events - like their annual MLK, Jr. day of service to help the homeless. If you feel drained by generic chain & corporate gyms, rejoice: this place has actual heart, soul, and meaning, plus of course the great workouts. In COVID times they are (safely!) offering regular outdoor spin, yoga, & fitness classes alongside virtual classes - register via MINDBODY 1 hr+ in advance for either kind. So far I've had a great experience with their online classes. Monthly membership is totally worthwhile - lots of classes still offered. This place needs to be on Yelp's list of great Black-owned small businesses!! Highly recommend signing up for a class, or get a gift card or donate...Support team Posh & do something positive for yourself too!

Very clean facility. Front end person was extremely courteous and helpful. I was a drop on and was treated as if I was a regular member. Music during Spin was AMAZING.

You get what you pay for at Posh. Posh is an inexpensive context for group fitness and spin classes. They have a lot of free parking. Students tend to be new to/novices to group fitness contexts and do not necessarily show up on time or early to get help with their first experience. Look for special deals offered on Groupon, classpass, other sites before you buy classes or register directly with Posh. 2 bathrooms, locker cubbies (bring a small non-pad lock), single person changing areas with curtains. No filtered water and no drinking fountains. They sell tanks, tees, sweatshirts. They sell weekend special events and also charge vendors to market themselves to you at those events.
