About XFINITY Center
The XFINITY Center is the home of the University of Maryland basketball programs and the Maryland Athletics Department, located on the university's campus in College Park, Maryland. It hosts the university's graduation ceremonies, where attendees are subject to security measures such as bag inspections and water bottle restrictions. The arena has hosted numerous sporting events, including the Big Ten Wrestling Championships, and is praised for its impressive facilities, food options, and enthusiastic fan support for the Terrapins sports teams.
I was there to see my kiddos college graduation and all the seating had good sightlines. The stairs to get to your seats are very steep, so you just have to be careful.

At the University of Maryland graduation ceremony, you are not allowed to bring large bags. Everyone must be inspected. Water bottles must be empty and can only be filled after entering the auditorium.
