I would give zero stars if I could. Terrible customer service, terrible staff, and zero accountability for errors their team made. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Terrible customer service, and super dismissive staff. There are other locations that can get your work done. Believe the bad reviews.

AAA Columbia has changed… for the worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This has become the AAA center from hell. Within 24 hours, and when they finally got to my car to start the diagnostic process, ONE OF THE AAA TECHNICIANS, likely SAM, BROKE MY 2013 VW JETTA KEY ON JUNE 20th!!!!! So, now, not only has AAA Columbia BROKEN MY CAR KEY, but
1. I’ve SPENT $247.06 on Lyft since last Thursday, June 19th (and today is Sunday, June 29th)
2. My car hasn’t been serviced for a full week from Friday, June 20th to Friday, June 27th. It also ultimately had to be towed to VW. The incompetent manager, Soto, also insisted there was nothing they could do but hand off the issue to the VW dealership WITH A BROKEN KEY (oh, and hand off responsibility, customer service, and adult level problem solving).
3. I’m now saddled with MORE AUTO REPAIRS than I came with!! Meaning I now have to pay for a new key cylinder and re-programming of the key ON TOP of other repairs. I regret ever entrusting AAA Columbia with my car at all.
4. Oh, not to mention the ridiculous amount of time I’ve had to spend calling both this particular location, AAA Columbia, AND roadside assistance. From Friday, June 19th.
For further context, my car had to be towed on Thursday, June 19th and I was towed by an AAA service provider in Germantown, MD called Top U.S. Auto! Prior to deciding to call AAA, Potomac auto care attempted to unlock the wheel, but they were unable to and wanted to prevent the key from breaking, so they weren’t forceful with the key. After that, called AAA for roadside assistance and that’s where Top U.S. auto comes in and NO ISSUES. The tow truck took my key to load the car, gave it back to me for the duration of the ride, and used it again to offload at AAA Columbia around 6:04pm, Thursday, June 19th. I knocked on the door to drop off my key, but they deliberately ignored me, so I just kept my key in my purse untouched! I coordinated a ride to AAA Columbia on Friday, June 20th. I thought nothing of it until I got a call on 1:12 pm, June 20th, during my meeting. I called back, June 20th, FIVE TIMES between 2:04 pm & 5:46 pm…. And had to follow up throughout the week.
AAA THIS IS NEGLIGENCE!!!!! FIX THIS AND RE-CONSIDER THE MANAGEMENT AT AAA COLUMBIA. CORPORATE WILL HERE FROM ME.

I had a horrible experience at the Columbia AAA. This is not what I'm used to for an oil change at all. An oil change took 3 hours from the time I checked the car in for my appointment to the time I received a notification about it. It wasn't done. I still had to give them more information before they completed the car. Everything was very inefficient and the worker at the desk was on the phone on another call while filling out my information. I think the major problem was that I don't trust the work that was done. They didn't top off all the tires. It looks like all fluids are not full. There was recently an inspection on the car in the last few weeks and now a leak came up that hadn't been noted before. I just think the work was shotty, it took way too long, and the price was outrageous. I will not be going back and may be rethinking my AAA membership overall because I'm not seeing the value and I certainly wouldn't leave my car there overnight for work. By the way, the oil change cost $95 for a ford suv. What a ripoff compared to many other locations available.

They told me my brake lines had a leak and that the cylinder needed to be replaced for $600 when the problem was only the air in the brake lines. No leak and the cylinders were fine. Tried to rip me off big time and they were very careless when test driving my van! I would never go back to them.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR REPAIRS!! Genuinely life-threatening incompetence.
The mechanics at this shop messed up brake system repairs twice (in ways that caused serious threat of brake failures while driving). While missing the fact that their faulty initial repair was the problem, they replaced a perfectly good wheel bearings and installed faulty new ones that broke on the first day of driving.

Went in to get a automotive bill of sale notarized. Customer service was great, and the notarization was free due to it being for an auto sale / my membership.

AAA contacted a towing company that the employees acknowledged were behaving in a sexist fashion while handling my tow. It took 3 hours to get a tow in total - primarily because the first tow truck guy left me on the side of the road. I have no idea what is actual issue was. He had a bad attitdue on the phone and again with the AAA representative. AAA had three different opportunitiesto intervene and prevent this from happening. In each case, their poor performance enabled this action. When the first driver arrived, I asked him what I needed to do to complete the tow. He responded that he needed to take a picture, he took a picture of my motorcycle, got in his truck, slammed the door, and drove off without another word. It was quite literally as simple as that. The customer service support was unhelpful. They refunded my transaction and informed me they escalated the ticket. I was never contacted again. Trying to address the issue with corporate wasn't helpful either. They answered the phone, after a 45 minute wait, at closing time and hung up mid conversation. Seriously, none of this should have happened and I remained polite through the whole despite all of the irritation. I can't recommend this company, it would have actually been better for me to just use my insurance tow.

People there pleasant.
Went to use their service to save on rental car costs for upcoming vacation. Their price including AAA member "discount" was more expensive than on line price from the firm AAA partners with on their membership card. Why pay for $$$$ forAAA if you can do better on their partners website!
