I came by on a Saturday morning to run a quick errand. Needed a replacement bulb for my car's blinker light. The very young man (Emilson?) at the register anticipated my questions and quickly looked up the part for me on his database. He quickly walked to the aisle and picked out the light bulb, went back to the register and rang up my purchase. I rarely experience such quick, competent service anymore anywhere. Thank you, Emilson!!

Had a sudden issue with a battery that wouldn't hold a charge. Advance jumped in and took care of me later than obligated to make sure I could get home. They tested the battery just to make sure it wasn't an underlying issue of bigger concern and I was not wasting my time and money. The staff gave me my battery options and a recommendation without any pressure. I was out in minutes instead of dealing with an issue roadside for hours.

Mike was friendly and helpful! Even though it only took a few minutes to replace my battery, one of the employees dragged out a chair from the back room to let me rest my injured knee. Sometimes this place gets busy — come at an odd time of day if you can help it.

Visited store to get replacement battery for keyless entry device and representative could not assist with opening the device because he was discussing with another worker " it is not long can't wait to get out of here." He just stood looking as I was attempting to open the device. Customer service will take my business to your competitors.

I am normally an Advance Auto Parts customer. Been so for years. I went here about 5 months ago for a check engine light and asked to use the diagnostic machine. I was told it was broken at the time. I had never actually experienced a franchise auto parts store, Advance Auto, AutoZone, etc, where the diagnostic machine does not in working order. But I thought, hey it can happen from time to time. So I went across the street to AutoZone to use theirs which was working. I bought the parts there and fixed my vehicle. Today I go back to Advance to use the diagnostic machine and they tell me they don't have one that's working. The salesperson instructs me to go to the next town over to advance in Jessup. On the way out the door he tells me the diagnostic machine is only $40. My thought is that if the diagnostic machine is only $40, why does this auto parts work not have one in working condition. I again choose to go to AutoZone across the street. I'm a converted customer now; I'll go to AutoZone or Salvo. Poor service at this advance.

I went in today to see if they could order replacement brake pads for the front and rear of my 2002 Honda Accord EX. Not only were they able to order them but they were in stock on the shelf and I was out of the store in 5 minutes!

Shameful service! My sister bought a battery from this Advance Auto and the battery died about a year into its life. Advance Auto acted like it did not want to replace the battery and insisted that it "must be the starter or alternator". The alternator was new!!! AAA advised my sister that the battery numbers were supernaturally low, and my sister had to purchase a new battery from AAA. Shameful!!
If you wish to pay over $400.00 in one year just to get a working battery, then feel free to let Advance Auto take advantage of you!!!
