I had to come in to this location for a scheduled in store pickup. As many others have noted, there were so many employees just standing around and socializing with each other, acting like they’re too good to be helping customers. It seems like this consistently happens at this store, if it wasn’t the closest Apple Store to me I would never come here. Do not recommend.

I bought three iPhone Pro Max and waited three weeks for delivery. After all that time, they told me, ‘We don’t even have a bag.’ Like seriously? What kind of service is that? I’m really disappointed — waited that long and still got poor service. Definitely expected more professionalism from them.

Waiting all day for a appt to get my phone fixed , the only appt they had for the day, 5 hours later i couldnt wait any longer and just was going to drop off my phone to be told i have to be there the entire time like im going to wait another 2 hours? I had two tired kids that been screaming. Complete waste of my day and waste of money paying for apple care.

The only reason why I have two stars is because the check in person, Anna, was very nice. Beyond that this is not a well run store. A lot of social chit chat among employees who are not helping customers and long waits for paying customers. Employees don’t give the impression that customers are important. I left and bought my new iPhone through Verizon.

I went to the Columbia mall Apple Store to replace my iPhone. I found one of the several employees who was not helping anyone and was directed to one table where I waited ten minutes for an employee to finish chatting with a couple about viruses and about their wireless provider. No sales going on but just socializing. I asked another employee if she could help me or tell me who could. She said I had to wait for the man at the table. I told her what I wanted but she brusquely told me that model was out of stock. When I dissident I would like to order it she told me I had to do that online. I left. I had driven an hour for rude treatment. There were at least 6-8 employees the whole time walking around with small iPads, none of whom could help me buy or order an iPhone while the only one assigned to sales of iPhones was engaged in non sales chatter. The couple was clearly not purchasing a device.
Very odd.

Bought the new iPhone 17 here I was having trouble with it and they refused to help me return and get a new one saying my promotion would not slide over yet my carrier saying it will slide over because it hasn’t been 14 days. Don’t go here the manager on duty was Chris he’s rude and not willing to help at all.

Hello,
I went to this Apple Store 09/29/2025 at 7:15pm I worked with an African American female with curly hair and I believe she had blond highlights with brown hair. I was trying to finance the IPhone 17 through my carrier. I don’t know if she did this on purpose but she bypassed the option where it says pay monthly and she went for the pay in full option. She had already activated the Iphone 17 when she did this so if she went back I would have been stuck without a number and it was closing time. I feel like I got scammed into buying the phone outright. Luckily my boyfriend had the money otherwise I would have had no phone service. Imagine had I been by myself? How would I have gotten home without my phone service? I really don’t appreciate the sales scam and you guys need to make sure that your employees are educated on this issue.
