We just moved my youngest child into Clary's Crossing almost 2 weeks ago. Excellent price in this market. Great location and well maintained property. Our first visit to get an idea about vacancies we met Thelma. She was very friendly and let us know that in the time frame we were looking there would be available units. We gave her our names and searched elsewhere but found nothing as nice. We went back about 2 weeks later and met Bob who had recently been hired. He took us on a tour of several available apartments. We decided on one and got the ball rolling. Every step in the application process Bob was there to make sure paperwork was getting done. They are very thorough in their application process and that was very much appreciated. On move in day we met Thelma and Bob in the leasing office and had the keys in hand in 5 minutes. Again, very smooth and professional. I have nothing but good things to say about our experience.

I took a tour and then the nightmare began. The leasing agent Bob was nice and offered exactly what I thought I was looking for. A 2 bedroom and 2 bath with hardwood floors. He stated that I needed to apply the very next day 10/6 and move in by 10/14 to receive a free month special they were running. I was just looking and was not ready to move in until the end of November. He was good and I didn’t want to miss out the deal so I got everything together very fast and sent it over. Things were missing and that had to be fixed throughout the day. After 7 stressful hours thinking I was going to lose the place over some technicality Bob calls me and apologizes that the apartment he offered and I applied to didn’t even have the move in special. Had I been told the truth and not victimized by A BAIT AND SWITCH I never would’ve applied to begin with. Now they’ve been holding my $50 application fee and refuse to refund it. All week I’ve been calling and Bob’s manager Thelma doesn’t even have to decency to return my call. This is unethical and I will be reporting it to the better business bureau. I’ll also be calling my bank to do a stop payment on both the security deposit and application fee. You don’t get to keep my money over a lie! Don’t move here and don’t apply. Zero stars for fraud. Fire them both and hire honest employees to represent your company. Now I see why you’re not even affiliated with the better business bureau.

HUGE thanks to Bola and Thelma for the patience and support!! I am currently a resident here and had to downgrade due to personal reasons and they were very helpful throughout the whole process! Knowledgeable and clear. I had so many questions and they were able to answer clearly so I can fully understand! I highly recommend anyone who is interested in the place to move in! Thank you again for great customer service!!

My time at Clary's Crossing had it's ups and downs (due to leasing office changes) but I owe thanks in large part to the exceptional maintenance team—especially Kevin! Anytime I submitted a request, he responded with remarkable speed and efficiency. Not only were the fixes always handled promptly, but Kevin also brought a warm, personable energy to each interaction that made a big difference.
Whether it was a light fixture outage or something more complex like needing a new hot water heater, Kevin showed up quickly, explained the issue clearly, and made sure everything was resolved with care and professionalism! It’s rare to find someone so consistently reliable, friendly, and dedicated to their work.
The entire maintenance staff also deserves praise—they all reflected the same high standards of responsiveness and helpfulness that was shown from Kevin. Their hard work and attention to detail truly made my stay at Clary's mostly stress-free and enjoyable. I can’t thank them enough!

Clary's Crossing is a golden needle in the chaotic haystack of apartment hunting. The assistant manager Bola Bangura is stellar. She has been compassionate, professional, incredibly prompt, and so helpful. If this property is anywhere close to your price range, I strongly recommend moving here.
The leasing, management, and maintenance teams are all fantastic. Others in my network previously lived here for many years, and they still remember and rave about the maintenance team lead Kevin. The property's location is optimal for suburban but connected living in Columbia, MD. The quality of the units/amenities on the property itself are also well above economically comparable options in other areas of Howard County and nearby counties.

I absolutely love these apartments, some of things I like is my location , the door key entry so that not just anybody could come into the building. Management is OK although I do think they do try to add hidden fees with no real explanations, I think the complex charge way to much for trash and water. I'm hardly ever home, the prices are ridiculous. My overall experience is not to bad. I ultimately feel pretty safe.

I’ve been living here for about a year and a half, management was a big problem when I first moved in. HOWEVER, with our new managers that started a few months ago, I’ve felt a positive energy shift. I can tell that they are working hard to make Clary’s feel more connected. The location is beautiful and with the right management, Clary’s will continue to blossom into a wonderful environment. Also, shoutout to Kevin, a wonderful engineer that works hard and efficiently to solve any issues you have in your apartment. Come check us out !

It has been a great experience living here so far. There is always parking, the noise level has never been an issue and my neighbors are great. There are no issues with the appliances, although there have been maybe 3-4 bugs that I have notice, although, it could be due to weather change. Nothing that has been a constant issue for me!

The apartment grounds are well-maintained, with no long wait for maintenance. I love the scenery and how quiet it is. They have nice activities in the clubhouse for all tenants.

I had a very bad experience living at Clarys Crossing. I gave it one star because the location is great. Ever since I moved there management changed about every 6 months. I lived there for 3 years and was constantly being overcharged for things such as forced renters insurance. I had to prove it was not correct. It has been the worst place I ever rented. The last management that they have now was the worst they had. They had their share of incompetent management. They affected my whole life. I honestly wish I never moved there. I moved in during the pandemic. I didnt have A\C for a whole summer one year. I am seeking legal action! You will be treated according to your race and income level here.

I have lived at Clary’s Crossing for over 10 years. It has been a wonderful place to live. The pool is great, the location is perfect. Kevin, who is the current maintenance supervisor is an absolute gem! He is responsive, thorough, thoughtful and kind. My two dogs adore him. He always has treats for the dogs ❤️. The current office staff are helpful and kind. I highly recommend this property.

New mangers and staff are here are working hard to remedy the issues that weren’t handled by the old staff. Community is great, quiet, and friendly.
