Why post hours on the door and your NOT open. Just close down if you can't get employees who want to work

Employees obviously play hooky on the clock. Waited outside for about an hour during business hours in the middle of the day! 2:30pm-4pm on a Wednesday! Sat in my car waiting for the employee who left the note on the door that said “on lunch and will return soon” never come back! Also witnessed a handful of customers unable to enter the store and shop because of this while sitting on my car waiting for whoever this employee is to come back to work and unlock the store. This is crazy. It’s the middle of the day during peak business hours!

It is 9:30am on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025. I drove to this location only to find the lights off, door locked, and a crappy note on the door about “hours fluctuating due to staffing issues.”
I called the store, it gives you 3 options. 1. A text of store hours, text reads, “We are open today from 8:00AM to 6:00PM. Thanks for calling.” 2. Text of address. 3. To speak with a store member. No answer, there is not a soul in sight.
Seems as though the people who ARE willing to work should be where at work. Or update their information. It is now 10 to 10, still ghosts.
- Good thing I don’t own and operate a salon currently.
