1. The car was rented for accident car repair and it was good. However, I had to pay out of pocket for the excess cost beyond insurance approved cost. The rental agent was good an explained clearly.2. The car had some issues like battery for key was low and it was time for oil change and message kept popping.3. The repair by next door garage took 4 weeks which was way high for 2000$ worth of side body paint and dents.4. I needed to change for an approved car so out of pocket cost would not mount. I called 3 times starting beginning of 2nd week but couldn’t get a replacement. They said we will call when available but never got one any call.

I was involved in an accident two days ago and I was finally able to get a rental today. I received a rental from another location and later in the day the check engine light came on. I called the location where I got the rental that I wanted to swap out cars but their location was a little far for me. They told me I could go to a closer location. I made the mistake of choosing this one. I came in about 5 minutes before closing because I had to pick my daughter up first. As soon as I told them my issue I was told that I need to go to the BWI location 25 minutes away because they didn’t have any cars. I’m in pain from my accident and wasn’t going 25 minutes away when I knew they had cars so I refused. Miraculously, they suddenly had a car available. But the car wasn’t comparable to the rental I received. This car was much smaller and wouldn’t be feasible to transport my child, her car seat, or anything else. I was told that was all they had. They already lied once so I’m sure that was a lie too. I just ended up leaving. I will never use enterprise if my own choosing. This whole experience has been terrible .

David and his entire team at the Columbia, MD, location have been friendly, kind, responsive, and helpful throughout the rental process for several of our rentals this year. Securing a car online was also really simple. I highly recommend them!

My insurance sent a request for a car rental to Enterprise Columbia at 8916 McGaw Ct. They gave me an appointment for two days later. I tried calling the day of the appointment but nobody picked up. When I called the next morning I was informed that they do not have a rental for another two days. I asked for more to be done since no reason was provided why the car was no longer available. When I spoke to a manager, he said I will be placed on the wait list and he would call around for a car. I requested a call back that afternoon, which never happened. When I called back that day I was informed that their car availability was pushed back one day to Sunday. When I asked if they were open on Sunday, they said yes. At this point I informed them I will let my insurance company talk to them instead. When I called my insurance I was informed that Enterprise are not open on Sunday and they sent the request to another location. Those are the facts of the interaction at this location apart from the rudeness, attitude and dismissiveness of the staff. I have gone a week without a vehicle and would likely be without one for way longer the way they conduct business at Enterprise Columbia. That is the last thing anyone was to deal with after an accident. I would not recommend this location, very appalling lack of service.

My rental experience was easy and very quick. I loved how nice the staff were and all smiles. Will definitely rent from again if need be.

Rude front desk staff!!!Just walked in now after checkin online because I was looking for a car urgently. And the gentleman repeated three times “for future reference you might want to make a reservation online”. I know that!! I already told him I checked and they seemed to have availability. He also stressed that I need a credit card to book and can only use a debit card at the airport if I have a flight ticket. I told him I did not ask him about that. I have plenty of credit card. Seems that the staff member was judging me based on my appearance and clearly did not want me to rent a car there! Even though they had availability online…

Even though most of the coordination was through my insurance company, I had a great experience with the manager, David and his Team. Easy process, with no hassle, good communication, and full consideration of my transportation needs.

Reserved a vehicle online and it said it was available for Saturday pick-up. Talked to Enterprise directly that we needed a home pick-up, and they said they'd notate that and forward to the location. When we received a call from the location, they said they had nothing until Tuesday. Queried why the website let us reserve if nothing was available and they said their system doesn't update on time. Asked where I could get a vehicle and the rep directed me to the airport. I questioned if the airport rental did home pick-ups and they said "no," despite KNOWING that we needed a home pick-up.At this point, the attitude and lack of friendliness from the rep was becoming irritated. I sarcastically asked, "So, should we go with a different company since your company sucks?" They then got an even WORSE attitude and responded, "If that's how you want to see things, sure."I've already reported that rep to management. A central Enterprise rep apologized profusely, wrote a report, and said they'd find me a local car and possibly even deliver to our house if possible. We've had fine experiences with Enterprise at other locations but will NEVER use the Columbia location. If you want to use Enterprise do NOT use Columbia, MD!

The employees were extremely slow today and rude. They caused me to be late to my destination in North Carolina. Then they give you attitude and make you uncomfortable when you voice your frustration. I agree with Tee’s review. The employee tries to intimidate you. Someone needs to teach their employees how to smile and not make customers uncomfortable. The tall young man gave me attitude for no reason. Unbelievable.

JUST DON’T DO IT!!!! Extremely rude when called out on their wrongdoings. The “Manager” was the furthest from managerial material. Employee by the name of Dee came off as a very THREATENING AND SCARY individual. He became VERY OVERLY AGGRESSIVE when I mentioned to the assisting associate that I wasn’t pleased with his services during my initial pickup. SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND FEAR!!!!

In order to accommodate a large number of pieces of luggage, I recently rented a “luxury” Lincoln Nautilus SUV for a two week plus four day trip at a total cost of nearly $2500. However, the Lincoln had several issues including lack of service (immediate change oil message), frozen entertainment system and difficulty opening a damaged fuel door. The real issue, however, was the air conditioning failed (on a 97 degree day of course) which forced me to exchange the vehicle while I was located in a remote small town in Indiana with only a few cars available. (Initially, I took the car to a service station who recommended changing the cabin air filter, which was filthy and probably had never been serviced.) These issues required several hours and had a big impact on our trip, which consequently had to be curtailed early. Finally, I had no choice but to trade down to a smaller, higher vehicle and my 80 year old wife had great difficulty getting in and out due to recent surgery.Upon my return, I attempted to explain these issues with the Enterprise Columbia Branch Manager, Mr. Ryan J. Asay. Mr. Asay was combative from the outset, attempting to prove to me that the oil was indeed changed and stating that obviously other customers were able to access the fuel door; all before I could explain the real issue. He earned an absolute zero for his customer engagement skills and continued to argue with me rather than express regret for our inconvenience and attempt to remedy the situation. Mr. Asay does not uphold the priorities and high customer satisfaction goals of Enterprise Holdings and may be better suited for a position without customer interaction.Making this worse, *repeated* emails to Enterprise Customer Care were always answered; however, there was never any follow up.

Robbie is the most professional and personal person I have met thru any enterprise location in maryland. He is always on point and gets things done. He is the best and always makes sure we are taken care. That extra time he takes to show humanity and that he cares means the world to us. To whom it may concern this is the kind of employee you want running multiple branches. Just had to share this.

Extremely unprofessional and poor service! Spoke with a manger who kept throwing up his hands, cutting me off, and trying to absolve himself of any wrongdoing by claiming ignorance. Asked for another manager who saw that the resolution was simple. SIMPLE. Yet the first rep and the first “manager” made it so very difficult. Unnecessarily difficult, unprofessional, and untrained manager. If possible, avoid this location at all costs.

This is one of the best Enterprise branches in the area. The customer service is awesome and I've never had any issues here.

When I travel out of town, I usually reserve a rental car. The Columbia Enterprise is my preferred location. The staff are always professional and polite. There's usually not much of a wait. The manager who gave me a jump when my car battery died on the lot ALWAYS makes sure any issues with cleanliness, dead charging ports, etc. are taken care of in some capacity. I decided to write this review because my husband picked up a full size car on a Sunday after a terrible storm that left cars in the area covered entirely in dust. He was given a clean BMW with a full tank of gas, perfect for a family trip to VA.
