I shopped for a long time. Found everything I needed. The bill came to $800 & change. None of my cards worked. The cashier really helped me. She was wonderful. We called my bank PNC & they could not help me because I didn’t know my pin#. I went to the bank (as they requested) & it was closed. I’m going to call The Giant now to tell them I’ll come back tomorrow & try to pick up my groceries. And I’ll bring my daughter along. She can pay for the groceries.

The bagging lady in row 10 today Monday 1/22 was so rude to me for no reason.I accidentally pressed the wrong button on the check out thing but we fixed it in a second. I did nothing to her. She was shaking her head at me and rolling her eyes at me. I was very polite to her and I left so confused as to why she was treating me this way. I was so upset.

Giant Food Market's 'Scan-As-You-Go' feature has revolutionized my shopping routine. The ability to scan items while browsing makes for a faster checkout, and it's become a significant draw for me. While Giant isn't my top choice for groceries, it's a close second due to this innovative feature. The store's variety is impressive, and navigating through aisles feels straightforward. However, occasional hiccups in the scanning process can be a bit frustrating. Despite this, Giant's convenience and decent selection consistently bring me back for a stress-free shopping experience.

Good place for groceries. Able to buy small quantities of different items instead of bulk.

Unlike the Giant in Owen Brown, this store was a pleasant surprise. Store was very clean and employees were friendly.

I shop lightly here. There's always plenty of stock and good sales.

This was always the Giant I went to because it was closest to home but I have found myself going to the Lyndwood one because it is much cleaner and renovated. This one seems to be going downhill and Giant doesn't appear to be as interested in it.They have closed the door on the right side and you cannot use the self-checkout anymore without the associate having to come over 5 times because it keeps thinking you are trying to steal something because you didn't set your bags down right. I don't like being treated like a criminal when I go to the grocery store.Like a previous reviewer, I also had a man stop me and ask me for money for food in the store. So he must wander through the aisles all day asking for money which I have never had happen to me but it is uncomfortable. The other issue I have is the stocking at this Giant is very inconsistent, especially when it comes to the prepared foods. You have to hope that the products you want are there which doesn't seem to be an issue at other stores. Hopefully Giant can fix this issue. This store just looks very dated and compared to the Lyndwood one very unwelcoming. They need to reopen the 2nd entrance and stop treating customers like criminals. The floors always look dirty. The food is not consistently stocked. I would gladly change my review if Giant turns this store around but I feel like they are going to close it the way they are treating it.

Only 1 register open for the whole store. No express registers open. Looks like it's store policy with GIANT now. Awful front end service with a "check it out yourself" mentality. Why do stores constantly try to save a buck by making it inconvenient to give them money? If you shop here you can plan on serving yourself while theyre busing closing registers and herding customers to the self check corrall.

The store is good, but I've shopped here by myself a couple times and have had both children and some adult men stop me and ask for money for transportation or to pay for their food.

This giant is ok. I typically have a better time finding what I need at the one of the 40.

This is a smaller neighborhood supermarket. Why come here? Easy in, easy out, decent selection, good support/service staff. The staff is led by Stacy Wendt and Don ? of the Giant management team. The reason to shop here is the staff, they work hard to support their customers. Last week their transaction system shut down, as a result, they couldn't process electronic payments. Stacey and Don tried hard to assist the customers, in their transactions. They were not 100% successful, but their efforts were appreciated.

They often only have 1 cashier who seems disabled. She has difficulty standing and picking up groceries. Paying for the groceries is a slow and painful process. Also, she seems a little unhygienic. She leans over the food, pressing her stomach against it. At one point, she noticed a bad strawberry and began opening the container to remove it. I really don’t want her touching the food. I had to insist that she not do this.
