This location is horrible. We came in to get a replacement twist on earring back for some diamond studs my husband purchased. The associate at first refused to help referring my husband to get a replacement online only after trying to upsell him in more jewelry, then another associate took the earring and jammed it in the earring back forcing it to fit. Now the back is very loose and I am afraid to even wear them. We paid almost $50 to replace an earring back that they didn’t want to sell us to begin with only to pay for them to carelessly and recklessly damage it and make it essentially useless.

Got quoted one price then charged a different price. The guy checking me out also tried to include an insurance policy without even asking me. Was quoted 370 or so with 10% off - the guy checking me out tried charging me over $500. Where did that come from? Unpleasant shopping experience to say the least.

If I could give them a zero I would. Nothing like being lied to more than once by more than one person. Do yourself a favor and go to a different jewelry store. Stay away from Kay’s jewelers!!!

Isabella Segal Katz helped me find a necklace and earring set for my wife for Christmas (2023). She was very helpful throughout the process and we were able to find a perfect set with a great price within a short period of time. I would recommend the Columbia Mall location to anyone looking for great jewerly with a resonable price.

My engagement ring was purchased at the Tyson’s Corner location however for convenience, we took the ring to be properly sized to the Kay’s Columbia Mall location. Mani took the time to share the uniqueness of my diamond and its identifiers. I enjoyed his professional warm sense of humor in his customer care. I must also acknowledge that the ring returned from being sized in less time than the 2 weeks estimated .. actually in only 5 days!Of course, we’re pleased with our experience.Thank you Mani at Kay Jewelers.

I went in yesterday for my normal 6 month ring inspection. The guy I spoke to was very unprofressional and rude. Now I am getting emails stating that my warranty will be voided because I didn't leave my ring with him, but he never asked me to leave my ring with him nor mentioned there was anything wrong with it. All he said was for me to bring it back in 6 months. I've called multiple times and no one ever picks up phone. Do not buy from this location!

This experience was not the best. Purchased my wife a new ring in march with the suggested warranty. Went in this month for a cleaning and they claimed they couldn’t find our record of purchase. After, 10 minutes he claimed he found the sale in there system without a name. SMH, then did what he should have done in the first place. All new people, service not the best. I won’t be going back..
