If you have a child artist that needs some canvases or you are an artist who needs some materials, then this is one of the best places to visit

Good prices on poster frames but no staff members available at checkout to help customers with large online pickup orders or with other needs who can’t use self-checkout.

Everything was okay , but they were very understaffed. I had a really hard time finding things, and there wasn't anyone to ask because the few people they had were absolutely slammed.
If you are familiar with the place and what you need, the actual products are good. They don't have enough of a sewing selection in the findings area to be helpful now that Joanne's is out of business. They do have a really nice collection of children's craft items, and when it comes to random craft items I did find at least something in most areas.
They really need to hire more people though because a craft store really needs crafters that customers can ask questions of or someone who knows where items are located.

Well stocked and clean. Self serve checkouts along with regular checkouts make it quick to get in and out.

This is a great store with great employees in the Owings Mills Maryland locale. On the other hand I was informed that so many customers no longer know where this "Michaels" NEW location is... it's really close to it's old location basically "near" where Baskin-Robbins once was (Reisterstown road)
