Best blood draw I ever had, hands down. It’s usually really difficult and painful to draw my blood. I’ve even been sent home unsuccessfully before.Brittany took my blood in a few seconds, and I didn’t even feel it! Brittany is the best! Coming back here for all of my blood draws.

Columbia Medical Center, Md: April 2023:They took a typical blood sample for my annual physical. The lady was very nice, we chatted, etc. However, 15 min later as I drove home, the needle site was swollen and starting to show bruising. I have NEVER in 50+ years had this happen. This morning I was shocked enough at this to take a picture and seek out making a review here. I really don't understand what went wrong, but something did. Prior to this, I was happy with them. Two stars instead of one since the lady was nice. (first picture)UPDATE: Columbia Medical Center, October 2023: Having no other choice in my timeframe, I went here again this week, and while the facility is great and the phlebotomist was pleasant, I again was left with a big bruise. I said I needed to put pressure on it for at least a few minutes and she said, no, that wasn't necessary. She slapped a plain bandaid on it, and I left. Look it up. You MUST have pressure to prevent bruising. Posting another picture of this time's bruise. Note: I had used Quest at the Safeway, Columbia site nearby for a test this past summer, and they put cotton ball under the bandaid to put pressure on and I had NO bruise. They had no appointments available.(second picture)

Not good experience, I don’t recommend this place; staff here seem like they need to Learn some manners from this elder parents, this is not how you treat your customers !!

I don't get the negative reviews tbh. I went in, it wasn't busy and they saw me within 2 min of checking in. I was kind with the lady, and she was kind back to me. Completed the blood collection in 1 min and sent me on my way. I was in there for 10min at most.

I would leave zero stars if I could. The staff here is sadly 100% unprofessional and rude. Yelling at walk-in patients as if it's their fault that the system allows walk-in. There were 4 lab techs in the office at the time we arrived and only 2 people in the waiting room so I saw no reason for all the aggression and confrontation. They act like they're working for free and doing patients a favor whereas just the 2 tests we came in for billed our insurance over $1k . The tech my husband saw claimed appointments were mandatory on Saturdays but that's a big fat lie. If this is the case then why does the check-in kiosk allow people to get on the waiting list. She also sounded irritated that our paperwork wasn't named and signed by the doctor whereas all she had to do was flip the page to find it. MANAGEMENT really needs to do something about those lazy women working there. Only 1 of them was actually friendly and professional and she's the non-black one....so much for stereotypes!!!? but they exist for a reason, smh( this coming from another ⚫️ person)

I had a horrible experience with an associate named Brittany. She was rude from the very start of my appointment. She was extremely unprofessional and gave me the impression that she hated her job. I confronted her about her nasty attitude and she argued back with me then proceeded to call her co-worker as she walked away. I am a person who usually give people the benefit of the doubt but I could not with her. She left a sour taste in my mouth and I will never come back to this clinic ever again. DO NOT LET BRITTANY TAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT. You have been warned.

They are very impatient and not courteous. Didn't ask me to hold pressure and I ended up with large brusing at the site. They didn't take their time and my arm ended up injured. Avoid this location!

I will never use this Quest Diagnostics again. The phlebotomist was SO rude - she actually brought me to tears. JUST PLAIN NASTY. When I told her to give me my papers back because I was going to leave, she called in her supervisor (very sweet woman) and acted like she had done nothing wrong. Finally, the supervisor asked if I would like to come to her station and I said yes.I don't believe that the supervisor was surprised at the girl's actions, attitude and nastiness. I fee sorry for others who may go in there and be treated like dirt! From now on I am using Lab Corp.

Will not go back. I arrived and noted kiosk was broken in that tray to slide identification was lying under the kiosk and when pointed out to staff she just turned away. When the lab tech called my name and walked me to her room she never gave her name or said anything polite. Little eye contact was given. When setting up to draw lab she tossed supplies she was using by tossing across the room into trash can. She proceeded to draw my blood at anterior elbow region and thrusted needle in at almost straight angle and stopped when needle was all the way to hub of needle then slowly pulled back. This means she went through the vein. This caused a lot of pain which is still hurting today 24 hours later. She proceeded to put over the puncture site a tiny cotton pad and was going to put tape over when I indicated I would prefer she not tape until the bleeding stopped. She walked out of room and told other tech “it was too early for this”I had to call her and say it was fine now and she proceeded to be rude and put small amount of tape and said nothing. I explained I have clotting disorder and take Coumadin and have left before with blood dripping down my arm if time is not giving to allow the blood to clot. Will never go back to this lab. I am from out of state and treasure that the Quest lab I go too are so professional and know how to draw your blood and do pressure dressing to ensure the bleeding has stopped at puncture site.Absolutely rude, unprofessional, poorly trained tech.

I recommend everyone should use it regularly. Great price. Love the professional environment and people. Get an appointment and you wait no time. My result came in less than 24 hours. I am glad I took a chance at this company. I have a great experience.

Wait time was good since I had an appointment, but everything else was a bad experience. I used this location for the first time. The technician was not friendly and showed some displeasure when I told her that I forgot my insurance card. In addition, the technician did not lp(a) testing that was requested by my cardiologist since she didn’t know what it was. I googled it in a second and this came up, yet she said it’s too broad. What is a Lipoprotein (a) Blood Test? A lipoprotein (a) test measures the level of lipoprotein (a) in your blood. A high level of lipoprotein (a) may mean you have a high risk for heart disease and stroke. Lipoproteins are particles made of protein and fats (lipids).

I had made an appointment on line, check in was easy. A brief wait and Brea did an amazing job drawing my blood!
