If you are looking around for a tuition center for your kid, look no further! I have been sending my daughter to Sylvan for about 3 months now, and I have to say I REALLY love the positive changes I have been seeing in her. We first tried Kumon, and boy did my daughter hate every minute of it. But when we came here, she never complained about going. She is always ready to go. The best part about Sylvan is that everything is tailored to fit your child's needs. The entire program that they place your child in is customized specifically for your child. So, what my child is tackling in class is different from the child next to her. I can't stress it enough, if you want the best tuition center out there for your kids, whether that's for helping them catch up, helping them get ahead, or just even wanting to put them into something to make yourself feel better. TRUST ME, Sylvan is the way to go.

I called the center to inquiry about getting my children tested as well as pricing. The gentleman that I spoke to Mr. Gibson was very informative, professional, and pleasant to speak with.The customer service at this center was amazing. We did end up finding a better rate for what my child's needs were, however if the situation arises where Sylvan would be a better fit for us, we will be going there as long as Mr Gibson is there no questions asked!

After speaking with them, and they assured us they can provide SAT prep before a planned March SAT our child took the diagnostic SAT with them. They sent the results several days later and then did not respond to us when we inquired about the diagnostic part (phone calls made and emails sent) and when the prep classes would begin. 2 weeks later they informed us that they are not offering SAT prep until after March.

My kids have been making very good progress coming to this center. The best part is that they don't complain about going to Slyvan, and gets excited when they master a topic.

We sent our daughter here for 6 months or so and I was very happy with how thorough they were. They set up regular updates with her progress and let me know how she was doing every step of the way.

My son has been with Sylvan for a year now and when he first started I was Skeptical because I had tried tutoring elsewhere and it was a waste. But being here his reading levels has gone up, he’s on honor roll and has a better Concept on what he is reading and understands. The staff is amazing, they work with you and make sure that any questions you have they can answer! My son gets upset when he misses his sessions and is most excited when he enters the building and gets to answer the riddle for the day!!! Every tutor is amazing!! I love the fact that they are teachers and have the understanding that every child learns at a different capacity!!!I would recommend this place to any and everyone, and not just if you’re child is struggling but to get that help, that push to be and do better!!Thank you Sylvan

We signed our high-school freshman up for Study Skills and Test taking earlier this school year. Everyone at the Learning Center has been so helpful in working with him on what he needs the most help with. They've worked around his schedule and continue to reevaluate his progress & communicate with us how he is doing & on changing things as needed. Definitely recommend them!

I enrolled my son few months ago at sylvan learning of Columbia. We’ve seen a lot of improvement already . The instructors are very kind and have patience. Highly recommend Sylvan learning of Columbia!

My son was struggling in school with Phonics. I tried working with him at home, but it seemed to make him and I both more frustrated than it helped. I researched Sylan Learning online and noticed they had a location close to my job in Columbia. I scheduled a meeting and they have been great. It’s only been 30 days, but my son’s teacher and I can already see an improvement. Thanks Sylvan Learning in Columbia. You’ve help make learning easier and more enjoyable for my son. ???

My daughter enjoys coming to Sylvan. She is only 5 years old and the teachers are very gentle and supportive of her. The office manager is always accommodating when it comes to changing her schedule.

Sylvan Learning of Columbia is fantastic! My elementary school aged kids have been going here for close to 6 months. The merging of technology and curriculum tailored to the student has shown tremendous improvement in my kids' ability to be ahead and stay ahead of school which also boosts their confidence. My kids enjoy the learning experience and earn tokens they can use for items to keep them incentivized.There are monthly feedback sessions that simplify the Sylvan learning model to help parents see which skills have been mastered and how concepts can be reinforced at home. I would highly recommend Sylvan Learning of Columbia for any parent that has a child struggling in school or wants a great school enrichment program!
