I just popped in to buy some plants. There was a large selection which was nice, but they all seemed pretty pricy. Plus many were missing the labels that detail care instructions. This isn't the HD I usually patronize, so I don't foresee many future visits.

Invariably everyone will at some point end up at a Home Depot (or Lowes, or all the other big box stores), and invariably you will experience a terribly kept retail store, where you spend way too long looking for something they don't have, is out of stock, or is just not restocked (and whatever you do, make sure you never have to use the typically filthy restroom). I can't count how many times I've experienced empty boxes on the shelves, wrong items on the shelves, or the item you're looking for is boxed up 12' up in the rafters of Depot. I consider Depot as a store which has a whole lot of things, yet never the things you're looking for. And trying to find staff that can actually help and answer questions, forget it. It's no wonder they are still in business. I will always first hit my local lumber yard or mom & pop hardware (if they still exist) before getting frustrated at (any/all) Depot's.

Just wanted to give a shout to the staff that helped out us out finding Halloween decorations today. They are the only store that went above and beyond and super friendly! Thanks again to the staff!

The Home Depot appliance department the absolute worst. No one there to assist. Encountered three employees chatting away in their orange vests but was immediately informed person in charge was in the lunch room. No one cares to help and are quick to tell you that it's not their department. I did eventually find the 2'x2'x 5' garage refrigerator on aisle eleven on the top shelf. Asked an employee holding two flags standing next to forklift and forklift operator if they could bring down the refrigerator. I was told that if they decided to help, that they would have to shut down the aisle. After an extended wait and no refrigerator, went back to appliance department. Employee at appliance department told me not his department. Went to customer service for assistance but they ended up calling appliance department but no one answered the phone. Eventually, I gave up. Easier to buy on line. Horrible or lack of customer service will be the demise of brick and mortar stores. Better yet, go to Loews. Quality products with better customer service.

Don't buy an appliance here if your expect them to install it. They delivered my dishwasher and refused to install it even though I paid for the service. They didn't really explain why and now I have a new dishwasher sitting on my porch and the broken one still installed. What the hell am I supposed to do?!

Typical Home Depot where you know you can find things to fix up a place. I always get seasonal plants here and the prices are very good. This store was very large and organized was able to get help from several employees trying to locate a metal brush for the juicer. Bingo I found it.

Columbia, MD. This location's customer service is the worst. They are a bunch of orange vest people walking around and will not help you. I asked for the store manager to give him feed back, but he did not respond to the employee at customer service area. POOR SERVICE, they deserve a zero star rating. I strongly suggest you go somewhere else if you are not a professional trades person and need help...I'm taking my money to LOWES.

these employees did not help me at all. i needed help hanging a simple wall decoration and they made us saw wood??? and then workers wouldn't actually help us just would say "get a screw"... all had different answers and wouldn't take the time to actually answer. so rude and unprofessional. profiling teen girls.

I have used this location for years. I only come back because I know what I want and where to look for it. But if there is any a moment that I need help, it is like trying to ask a toddler to clean up their room. Nothing really gets done and half an hour later you are really not any further ahead than when you started. Every business struggles to dial in their staff to be an efficient working machine but I cannot understand how this particular Home Depot has never managed to do it in the 15+ years I have been coming here. Sure there have been the occasional staff that are really good but in general they are the rarity. Corporate should really take a magnifying glass to this place because that is just too long a time span to have poorly trained employees. BTW, I like most all the other Home Depot's. It's just this location that falls rather short. If I didn't know where everything was located and what it is that I am looking to find I would never come here. It's too frustrating trying to get help on the simplest of things.

I ordered online and specified curbside pickup. I waited 25 minutes in the special curbside pickup space, and nobody ever showed up. I had let them know I was there waiting via the special text they send when the order is ready. So, I went inside the store to customer service where all the people working that job were occupied with something else Finally, somebody agreed to wait on me. I cancelled my order and got a refund. Forget that curbside service. It does not exist.

They have the WORST customer service! Every time I go to this location i can never get help. And when I approach an employee for help, they act like I'm an inconvenience. It is beyond frustrating. I came in this morning to purchase wood boards for my garden. When I arrived I went to the counter and requested help as I needed the wood cut. They paged someone but no one came. After 20 minutes I went back to the counter and asked again. She seemed put out by my request. After another 10 minutes I was told the saw was broken. Funny that it worked last night when I came in for the same thing. Now suddenly it's broken. I guess I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere.
