“The days of the backyard auto mechanic are truly over. I used to replace thermostats with a socket wrench and screwdriver in 15 minutes or less. Not any more. Today you have to almost take an engine apart in order to replace anything on it. I took our 2013 Cadillac ATS 2.0 Turbo in to the dealer for a new thermostat. $1,800 they told me. I told them to forget it. A second dealer quoted almost as much. I told them forget it too. Enter Precise Auto and Body. I got their name in an Internet search. Their reviews looked good so we tried them. Dan told me there was over 5 hours involved because the turbo unit had to be removed in order to access the thermostat housing. That explains a lot. Dan quoted an original equipment DELCO GM thermostat and housing, replaced for about 60% of what the dealers wanted. Knowing that the turbo needed to be removed and replaced made his quote acceptable. I was expecting the work to take more than the rest of that day, but they called that afternoon and told me the car was ready. No surprises in pricing, no long wait times, and very friendly people made this (almost) a pleasant experience. The $800 we saved by not going with a dealer was icing on the cake. Based on this experience, I can recommend them highly. This wasn’t an easy repair but it appears to have been done right, quickly, and at a reasonable cost given its complexity. Dan and Kharina are both on top of their game.”

“Trusting my daughter's recommendation to take my care for service at BM Auto, I did so this morning. My interior and door lights weren't working, nor was my cigarette lighter for charging and one USB port. Received a quote for at least $500 from the dealer service department, so it seemed like the right time to try a new place. I couldn't believe it!
