The staff were super friendly and incredibly helpful — they took the time to go over different options for my rig setup and even let me hang out in the shop to work on it, providing some basic tools and tips along the way. I stopped by Tobacco Zone/White Oak tobacco after calling in to see if they have shisha that’s not just AF and/or Adalya. The store is well kept and the staff is very kind. Their shisha selection is one of the vastest I’ve seen locally in the MoCo/MD area. They’ve got Social Smoke, Eternal, Trifecta, Fumari, and a few smaller niche brands. Where my review loses a star is that most of their stock is essentially expired. Now technically not labeled as expired I noted that most of the shishas for sale were manufactured anywhere between 2020-2023. Rule of thumb for buying unopened/sealed shisha is that it’s typical “good” for about 1.5-2 years if kept in a dark, dry, and cool environment. I’m not too much of a stickler for this rule, but I would (and so would many others) smoke on freshly produced shisha. However, since the store look well kept and organized I didn’t question the viability the shisha too much. Had the current selection only been 0.5mo-1yr from MFG date I would have walked out with a handful, but since I didn’t want to drop much money on shisha that might’ve lost its taste and nicotine I figure I’d just buy a few of the 50g-100g offerings. I feel that if they were to clearance their “out-of-date” shisha and re-upped on their stock these shishas would be a regular sell-out. Will come by again if I’m in the neighborhood and need a last minute re-up on my shisha stock. Thank you guys for the wonderful service!”
