My hair is very fine and thin. I made a 630 appointment and was not taken to get my hair done until 7 PM. I brought specific pictures showing that I wanted a long pixie. I ended up with most of my hair less than an inch in length and so chopped up, I can’t even style it. I will never come back again. Obviously, folks were in a hurry because it was close to closing time, however it wasn’t my fault that I wasn’t taken on time. No words to describe how upset I am.

If your needing a brow shaping or a good wax don’t hesitate to go to shine studio, Rebekah did an amazing job and made me feel comfortable through the whole process as she explained ever step that she was doing and reassured me what she was doing before she did it and that’s what I like, I wish be booking multiple future appointments with her!😊

Recently moved to the area and needed for find a new hair stylist for a perm refresh and hair cut. Kimmy did an amazing job! Easily the best perm I have ever had. It even looked perfect immediately after the perm which never happens. I will definitely return to this salon for my future hair needs and to try their nail services.

The absolute best environment. No mean girls there... just women who love helping women. Brandi is so sweet and skilled and the staff around her is spot on. Never heard a bad thing, never had a bad experience, and I'm so RELAXED the entire time I'm there!

I'm sure this place does great work but I literally was just turned away from trying to get a couple 50$ gift cards for massages for my parents for Christmas. They said they closed @ 8 and I got there soon as I could straight from work by 745. The girl said she had shut her computer down and then proceeded to run away to the back so she didn't have to deal with me. I understand you're trying to get off work but that is absolutely ridiculous. Sure, I can go online and get a digital gift card but my folks like many others prefer a physical copy. I NEVER leave bad reviews and hardly leave reviews at all but this really bothered me. Do better....EDIT: The owner and 1 of her employees went out of their way to make this right. She met with me on Christmas Eve and made sure I got what I needed. Really appreciate you guys!

I'm unsure about the rest of the team at Shine, but my experience with one particular person has left me with one of the worst haircuts I've ever had since I was a child.
Courtney S. was my stylist, and I will never be back in her chair ever again.
Anyone who knows me knows I am very, VERY careful when choosing who works on my head. I should've left when she first walked over and didn't even greet me. That was red flag #1. She then continues to comb through my hair and remain silent. I was so uncomfortable, but I thought maybe she's just having a bad day and tried to steer this wreckage in the right direction. I had to speak up and start conversation so we can get to the reason why I was in her chair and what I wanted done. I really should've walked out but I was desperate for a haircut and thought this lady had enough experience under her belt, according to her bio on the shine website. I tried to explain what I wanted to the best of my ability, but something I noticed was she didn't ask me ANY of the questions I have normally been asked in past by other, more personable, stylists. She barely asked me any questions AT ALL, and it was my first time in this place! Red flag #2. She then begins to cut, and again, I trusted her way too much. When she finished, she styled it in JUST the right way to make it look like what I wanted. (She also used hair spray in my hair without even asking me if that was okay. I HATE HAIR SPRAY!!) I walked out of that salon praising her on her work because I have never had someone get the angle I've always wanted. Upon getting home, I tried brushing out the hair spray and played with it a little... this is when I started noticing the problem.
My cut is uneven. She cut it to fit the part I had on my head. (I had a side part walking in). That's when it hit me... she never asked me if that's how I always wear it. She assumed that's the side I always part it. Well now I can't have any other part. In fact, I can't stray from one specific part line. Over the last few weeks, I kept getting angrier and angrier. I can't even go get it fixed or it'll be too short for my liking! (side note: she cut my hair wet, so it's a lot shorter when dry) I've tried putting on hats, but it's SO NOTICEABLE HOW UNEVEN IT IS!!!!!!!
I will never be back. I will never forget the red flags. I know better now to walk out when something doesn't feel right. Courtney, I hope you never do this to another person again. I am embarrassed of my hair. I either have to style it one specific way, or pull it back so no one sees this uneven disaster. I wish I could get a refund. You didn't deserve that tip, either. If I could take it all back, I would. LEARN TO TALK TO YOUR CLIENTS OR DON'T COME IN IF YOU'RE HAVING THAT BAD OF A DAY!!!!!!

Was here for my grandson's first haircut. The stylist was professional and extremely good with the toddler. The salon was clean and well organized. I wish I lived in the area because I would definitely go to this salon for all my hair needs. Great place and my grandson looked so handsome with his awesome haircut!

What made me choose a stylist, a shine studio, is that they have bios for all their stylist. It list how long they have been a stylist, training and schools the stylist attended, and then it list what they slay at and what they enjoy doing the most.
Last year I chose Leah and I've been going to her ever since. A cpl months back, I decided to make a change in my hair style, and Leah slayed it! It impressed my mom enough to make the switch to Leah at Shine Studio as well.
There are so many other things I can say that I really like about Shine Studio as well. Their receptionists are very friendly and welcoming. I like that they always have promotions and deals. I always feel welcome and enjoy my experience at Shine. I've also been to their sister company, Glow Wellness, which I also recommend!
