The manager Gary Mayhew and his employee Alissa Breeding went above and beyond to help during a crisis while traveling half way across the country. My alternator went out and they helped diagnosis the problem, find the right part, and help anyway they could. Exceptional customer service!

The staff are very accommodating and did not charge me for a brake light replacement that I bought from them. For a very hot day, they worked as a team . Definitely, will come here for anything I need. It’s done really quick. Thank you very much. ABuckley

I bought Rotors and brakes online. Bundled them according to the deal that popped up. Apparently they don't sell rotors in pairs. So I ended up with all brake pads and 1 rotor of the front and one rear. I returned the rear for a front. Such great service! Amazing people willing to help!

Best experience EVER at an auto shop! I am not at all familiar with anything car related. My key Fob was messing up, and someone suggested getting another case. So I went there and got one, but then after they changed it, it no longer worked. So a larger built gentleman and the manager Gary helped me resolve the issue. It took forever, but Gary didn't give up until he figured it out. I was on the verge of tears because I was so touched by his determination. And he was so kind and personable! If he hadn't have helped me, it would have cost me over 200 dollars to get it fixed at the dealership! I am so very grateful for the excellent customer service and help!

I stopped in the store about a half hour before they closed, because a brake light had gone out on my 1973 Volkswagen beetle. I was a little dubious that they would even have the part.
I was greeted by Chris, one of the store managers, who assisted me immediately (along with another associate) Both were super helpful. Old Volkswagens are quirky to say the least, especially their electrical systems- so after about a half hour, Chris had the bulb situation figured out, and I was on my way down the road with working brake lights!
I didn’t realize that they were closing, because he never made me feel rushed, he just assured me that we would get the problem figured out and then I would be safely on my way… and that’s exactly what happened- and I got a lesson on reverse polarity!
There are lots of auto parts stores out there, and honestly- their prices are pretty comparable. It’s service like this that helps you make a decision of where to get your auto parts from! The staff at this store went above and beyond, and they will now get all of my business!

My teen and I bought a used car had trouble on the way home stopped at an advance were shrugged off. Saw AutoZone SEVERAL associates came to our aid. They were wonderful. But the icing on the cake was the manager Mr Mayhew ,
yes he is related to the original Chewbacca , he has been restoring and fixing cars more than twenty years. His intricate diagnostic knowledge of vehicles was akin to House diagnosing a rare disease. All with empathy courtesy and plain old human kindness. He is doing a fantastic job at restoring the store to it's divine purpose. Keep up the great work fellas.

Great place to get ur parts Great customer service..but the guy that stocks the shelf can be rude if you call belching not saying excuses me a problem..and loud at that over all 3stars would give 5 next time I'm in I was grossed out..but Great customer service in and out

AutoZone is the only place that has my Mazda parts and accessories. Sucks but no complaints they are wonderful.

On our way home from DC, we determined a new alternator was needed. None of the auto parts stores had one in stock and if ordered, it would be 3 days to a week before it would arrive. We went to Auto Zone and they told us they could get one by 2pm the following day so we ordered it. It arrived at 9am this morning! Since we are traveling, we didn't have all the necessary tools with us so they also let us borrow the tools needed to complete the job. We are so grateful for the team of employees who waited on us. Special thanks goes to William Hardy, Marc H. and Daryl. Without these fine people, we wouldn't be heading home now. If you are ever "broke down" in Cumberland MD, go to 1209 National Hwy.
