My Fur Baby was very sick and could not keep any food down. I called and they saw her the same day. After consult and x-rays she was sent home with meds, and specific instructions for care. I am thrilled that two days later she is back to her old self

A stye had ruptured on my dog's right eye. Naturally, I was freaking out. LaVale Veterinary Hospital took great care and did an incredible job removing it. See before and after below. His eye looks amazing. He's so relieved and back to his normal happy self ☺️

Kind of disappointed with this place. My 1 year old female hound mix was attacked by another dog. Now I have went to this vet with my other dog, a black lab for years. Unfortunately, my baby girl has passed away at the age of 13. When I called to see if I could bring my other dog their I was told that it doesn't matter if you are a customer of theirs they're not accepting new people. I explained that I wasn't new , that I've always brought my pets to them, I was declined. This was an emergency and she directed me to go to Hagerstown or Winchester which one is an hour away and the other location is almost 2 hours away. It's a shame that the Cumberland MD area has no local vets and but x after hours to help our fur babies when they need it. I'm extremely disappointed

Everyone is so nice from the front desk to the Dr's themselves. They are always great with our pet.

Just moved into Cumberland and rescued 3 more babies, a Cane Corso and 2 homeless kittens. Now we have 4 dogs and 4 cats, and all 8 will be cared for by the wonderful staff and doctors at LaVale Veterinary Hospital. They registered our pets and scheduled wellness appointments for them; however, we had an emergency with one of our dogs before the appointment date, and they saw her immediately and checked her over thoroughly. We thought we were losing her, but she's back home now, safe and sound. I trust them completely, and they'll be caring for all my pets in the future.

We have been customers of LaVale for quite some time. Definitely a full service veterinarian. Don’t hesitate to take your fur babies here to get the care they need. All the vets we’ve dealt with over the years have been excellent. Recently, Doctor Ainsley Saved the day. From working with us on cost of test to calming my wife down. The staff in the front to the vet tech everybody was amazing. Our family sincerely appreciates everything they do for our community. We are blessed to have them in our area.

Some of the most wonderful people work there.They really care for animals. They are kind and understanding.All the vets in practice have been caring and competent. I never forget how staff and the veterinarian cried for my cat! They touched my heart.Thank you for all you do on daily basis.

Not an emergency facility for new clients, please correct that on your benefits. Went by Google search. 1st was about the ER fee which wasn't a problem sounded like vet on call didn't want to be bothered.Quite disappointing

Absolutely the best veterinary care in the area. Routine or emergency, the staff, facilities, and care are top notch. Dr. J. Cosgrove is simply AMAZING. I have seen other doctors there for emergency visits as well and have been remarkably satisfied. You will not find better care or concern for your pet. Also, the follow-up calls after an appointment are very much appreciated. I swear, my dog gets better care here than I ever have at any doctors office where I've been a patient.
