Today I was given antibiotics for my son in powder form because the pharmacist wasn’t on site and the technician was either incompetent or badly trained. I had to go back at 8pm to get the mistake fixed while my sick child waited for up so he could take his medicine before going to sleep. I’ve never been so livid. This is the first bad experience I’ve had here but its the worst thing I’ve heard of, let alone experienced, a pharmacy doing. Three stars because they’re usually good, but check the bag they give you before leaving.Edit: My son is now on day 8.5 of a 10 day course and I have just run out of his medicine. The pharmacist didn’t give me enough when she reconstituted it. I’d never seen either the technician or pharmacist who did this before and I hope I never do again. Two stars.

This Safeway is very clean, COVID compliant and has a large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Their deli counter is amazing as well, with various side dishes, fresh baked chicken, chicken wings, you name it, they got it!

If you have a different shopping option DO NOT go to this location by no means at all. On August 15 I called the bakery to ask what time would they be open ‘til because a friend of mine preordered and purchased a cake for me for my birthday. Upon arriving at the store the bakery was closed but he had left my cake on the counter. As I was walking to the registers to inform the staff that the cake was pre purchased I was met with 4 different employees. The ASM Mr. Boga then beg

I produced the receipt and was still being accused. Customers were looking at me and I was very embarrassed and have anxiety. The emotional distress that I had to endure was totally unacceptable. I’ve shopped at Safeway since I was a child in Kensington but from this I will NEVER return. Mr. Boga and Justin need some retraining. Imagine being in tears on your birthday
