  The Deli staff was quick, friendly and professional. The shelves were stocked. The only drawback is that there was only 1 human cashier. Started out 4th in line; were 7 people waiting when I was done. The cashier was quick but 1 person can only do so much.

  Great Customer Service here, Especially, when I went to the Deli. Ningning did an EXCELLENT Job with the Hot food that I ordered. Perfect portions and was very Professional and Helpful.
  She even Thanked Me and smiled.
  During Check out, Erika was also very Pleasant to talk to.
  She asked if I found everything that I was looking for. Erika was very Professional and Helpful as well and Thanked Me and smiled.
  Great Clean Store to shop at with Great Customer Service. Great Prices also and shelves had a lot of items on them. Stocked perfectly.

  Large selection of assorted foods and other goods at reasonable prices. It has premade foods for when you don't feel like cooking, along with heatables and other assorted quick make items.
  
  It now offers both Curbside and Delivery service for convenience as well

  The Worker was too busy playing with Pokémon to help store customers at Customer Service. He spoke about buying all of the stuff out of the machine they have in store and reselling it online.
  Sat and waited for 10 minutes to realize that the guy I was looking for was playing with Pokémon….. Extremely disappointing

  I don’t support businesses that force customers to do self checkout. There should always be an option to interact with a cashier. This is because it’s not my job to work for your store. Self checkout is also annoying and problematic. Also I like to interact with human beings and not machines. Also my mother worked in a grocery store for over thirty years and I want to support workers like her. Tonight when I visited the store there was no option to go to a cashier. Therefore I refuse to buy things at the store. I asked to speak to the manager and told him there should always be an option to go to a cashier. The manager on duty appeared to have no training in how to interact with a customer and was not dressed professionally. When I told him the problem he said the worker was on break and started to walk away. When I tried to talk to him more to help him understand this was the wrong answer he told he had heard my complaint and said I was rude. He then literally snapped his fingers and made a waving away hand gesture and told me to get out of his store now! And then he said he was calling the cops. Well, that’s a first. It’s clear that this store has a long way to go to understand the very basics of how to run a business, but I will not be the one to teach them. I will simply go someplace else.

  I like the store, pretty clean, most things in stock, and rarely busy. I can usually check out quickly, especially using self checkout. However, CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES! I frequently come here and find stuff that is at the front of shelves that are already expired. These are items like bacon expiring weeks ago. Today I just went to get milk and I’m glad I checked the date and it said it expired on April 10th, today is May 11th!!! I find this pretty disappointing. I end up going to Wegmans for most of my produce even though I love 1.5 miles from this Safeway simply because of the freshness. It’s a bummer.

  Safeway is one of the better grocery stores for price and quality. There's nothing special about it, but it also doesn't have negatives like some other chains. It's always clean and well lit and the staff is usually friendly.
