Poor customer service! I came here for passport services. Tracy was totally rough and unfriendly. She offered and made 2 photocopies of the birth certificates and charged $2 later. She completely didn't mention the charge before making the copies. When I said you should have mentioned the charge upfront, she gave me a disgusted face and prompted me to pay without any explanation. I don't mind paying the fee, but we should have known about any extra service fees upfront. Beware of their services and fees because they don't disclose upfront.

I expected my order to be delivered. I waited over 2weeks for it. It was due to arrive today and I find out at 7pm, that it was returned to sender at 4pm. WTH Damascus. The money that one pays to live here, can we get our delivery on time? Can you attempt to call us or try to deliver it again before you make the independent decision to return to sender? Did it ever occur to you, that maybe....just maybe...you should try again? At least once. It's only the same address for the last 4years. I mean, hell you finally stopped sending other mail out but to heck with what we actually order.Update to 4stars: As of 27 February, all has been made right with me and for me. I understand personnel are new and for the lack of my understanding that was displayed. I apologize for all things. It could have been said better, considering the platform used. Forgive me and I will do better moving forward.

Been waiting for a package to be delivered but I haven’t gotten it. Tracking number has it at the DAMASCUS post office for the past two weeks almost but has not been delivered and no records of it. Absolute crooked criminals. Drivers are completely lazy and stuff packages into mailboxes instead of walking 30’ to deliver it properly. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE NOW!!!

My Amazon package has been sitting here for over three weeks with no sign that it will ever be delivered. Seller says they dropped it off, but staff have no idea what happened to it. Thankfully it wasn't anything I needed right away, but I would not trust this post office with any time-sensitive packages.

I was there for passport service and the employee named Reena was really helpful. She was very professional and knows what she is doing. As compared to other USPS employees she was the far most helpful person ever.

I hate to pile on here, but all of these horridly negative reviews are spot on. This post office is absolutely miserable, all as it sits in the middle of the small, proud, happy little town of Damascus. I have lived here for 12 years and have made three visits to this post office - each time out of necessity, and each time leaving absolutely bewildered. The poor customer service starts with the first face you see when you enter (and I won't mention the name out of respect as most here have already mentioned it). I don't know who urinates in her Wheaties cereal daily, but she seems to take it out on every customer who walks through the door. My strategy has always been to walk in and kill her with kindness, but even that doesn't work. If you are still going to the USPS for stamps or other trivial things that can be done online, do yourself a favor and get online access. Recently, as the USPS has started to send a daily email notification to customers reflecting what mail will be delivered for the day, I have noticed that I never get the mail that was scanned and featured in the email. And i mean, NEVER get it. The only thing worse that lost mail is KNOWING what mail they've lost. Often times important. This Damascus location is pitiful, and they simply do not care.

Shout out to the Damascus Post Office. I took a pre-paid package to the drop box back in August. It was a broken phone that had to be sent back by a certain fate or else I would get charged $500. Well guys, thanks a lot... AT&T charged me $500 because I "never shipped my old phone." Of course you guys won't fix your mistake.

Came in for passport services, Tracy was really nice and very helpful. She explained everything to me and helped make sure that everything was correct on the application, and that all the needed documentation was submitted all together. Overall good experience
