“My daughter has a wonderful time every time every time she goes there for drop in care (a benefit I receive through my employer). Everyone is lovely and remembers my daughter by name even though she is only there 1-2 times a month. Ms. Seemab is especially lovely and always provides such nice feedback about what my daughter learned throughout the day and how she did. I love the daily emailed reports, which include tons of cute videos and pictures. I feel very comfortable and confident that she is in great hands while she’s at Chesterbrook.”

“My youngest thoroughly enjoyed her Bar-T summer camp experience this year. The director of her particular camp was amazing. She had excellent communication and treated each child with love. The camp had full days of all different kinds of activities keeping the kids busy all day long. We will definitely be back!”
“We absolutely love A to Z Fun Care Early Learning Childcare Center! Since my daughter started here, we have seen so much growth in her learning, communication, and confidence. The teachers truly care about the children and make them feel loved, safe, and excited to learn every day.
My daughter genuinely enjoys going to class and even misses her teachers and friends when she’s away. That says a lot about the positive environment they create. The staff has always been kind, supportive, understanding, and welcoming to our family.
As parents, it gives us peace of mind knowing our child is in a place where she is cared for like family while also learning so many new things. We are beyond grateful for everything A to Z has done for us and highly recommend them to any family looking for a caring and trustworthy daycare.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars
Our daughter Sara has had an amazing experience at Academy Child Development Center at Stone Mill Center. We have been incredibly happy with the care, attention, and love she receives every day.
Last year, Sara was in Ms. Savitri’s class, and she was absolutely wonderful. Ms. Savitri helped make Sara’s transition to daycare smooth and enjoyable, and we will always be grateful for the kindness, patience, and encouragement she showed our daughter.
This year, Sara has been fortunate to be with Ms. Helen and Ms. Sera, who have been nothing short of amazing. They truly care about the children and create a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where kids can learn, grow, and thrive. Sara absolutely adores them and talks about them all the time.
What stands out the most is how excited Sara is to go to daycare every single morning. As parents, there is no better feeling than seeing your child run into school with a smile on her face and come home happy, confident, and eager to share what she learned.
The entire staff at Academy Child Development Center is caring, professional, and dedicated to the children’s well-being and development. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a wonderful daycare community for our daughter.
Thank you to Ms. Savitri, Ms. Helen, Ms. Sera, and the entire team for everything you do. We highly recommend Academy Child Development Center at Stone Mill Center to any family looking for a safe, loving, and enriching environment for their child.”
“I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful care and support my daughter received at Winwood Children’s Center. When I had to find a daycare for her on short notice at just five months old, the teachers and staff welcomed her with open arms, making the transition smooth and stress-free for both of us. From day one, it was evident that they genuinely cared about her well-being and development.
The infant room teachers, Ms. Brenda, Ms. Carmen, and Ms. Homa were not only attentive and nurturing but also created a safe and stimulating place for her. They took the time to get to know her unique needs and interests, offering personalized attention that made a huge difference in her growth. I was always reassured by their communication, knowing I would receive updates about her daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
As she reached her first birthday, I could see how much she had grown under their care by learning new skills, forming relationships, and becoming more confident. The dedication of the teachers truly made Winwood a second home for my daughter and I’m excited for her next year with them. I am beyond thankful for their warmth and would recommend them to anyone looking for a loving and supportive environment for their child.”
“Our daughter has been attending Goddard School of Rockville since she was 6 months and it was the best decision we ever made! She has thrived during her time there and that is thanks to the incredible community at the school, the excellent teachers and staff, and the diverse curriculum that they offer. And the admin/leadership team is incredible.
Everyone who works at the school is extremely nice and you can tell that they genuinely care about the kids and their development. Our daughter has learned so many new things since being at school and she loves all of the fun activities they get to do each day! Almost everyone who works here knows our daughter by name, even if they don't spend much (if any) time with her. I think that is a credit to the wonderful community they have built here and the great people that work here.
The school does an incredible job of providing daily and weekly updates about the kids lesson plans, activities, school events and news, etc. I could not be happier with the level of care and communication that the school provides. And I feel 100% confident about the health and safety of my child while she is at school which as a parent is invaluable.
As an added bonus the school offers a ton of additional benefits (some free and others for additional charge) including block parties, catered snacks and lunches, and weekend childcare once a month.
There are a ton of places you can take your child for daily care, but there is only one Goddard School!”
“We’ve had such a great experience with Fun Square. From the very beginning, the staff has been kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. You can really tell they love what they do and care about the kids, not just as students, but as little people with their own personalities.
The classrooms feel warm and organized, and there’s a good balance between learning and play. My child has grown so much, not just academically, but socially too. They’re more confident, more independent, and actually excited to go each day.
I also really appreciate the communication. The teachers keep us updated and are always open to questions. It gives me peace of mind knowing my child is in a safe, supportive environment. I would absolutely recommend Fun Square to any parent looking for a place that feels both professional and personal.”
“The school features wonderful, deeply supportive teachers, an incredibly organized and attentive administrative staff, and a remarkably strong educational curriculum. Our family has been with the school since my son was four months old, and throughout his journey to Pre-Kindergarten, every class has exceeded our expectations.
The instructors bring a diverse set of professional skills and inspiring personalities to the classroom, creating a highly supportive environment where my son has loved learning. The inclusion of specialized programs—such as Art, Music, Physical Education, Chinese, and Spanish—combined with organized operational support, has been instrumental in developing his social abilities and personal growth. We are incredibly grateful for how the school consistently finds creative ways to prepare children for their next developmental milestones.”

“This is a great daycare. My son was in daycare here for two months while we were on a waitlist for a closer place. If we moved closer, we would definately go back here.
Ms Brandy runs a good center. They have a lot of events that the parents participate in, and everyone says good things about the center.
The ladies in his daycare were so sweet to my son. They did a lot of creative activities related to the seasons (playing with leaves and a pumpkin, finger painting, and crafts). They made a photo collage for him when he left, and they really seemed like they will miss him. I think this what you want for your infant.
The infant room is the nicest i have seen for a daycare. It is big with a lot of light and lots of space for crawling around and activities.
We would go back if we lived closer.”
“Update: We had another great year and we owe it to Ms. Dave for her commitment to teaching the kids through kindness and meaningful lessons. My child learned critical skills in a positive way and we are so grateful for Ms. Dave and her dedication.
Update: Ms. Vanessa and Ms. Stonestreet are amazing teachers! We feel lucky to have another great year of teachers. They are so thoughtful and kind to each child. They really go above and beyond with the attention and care they show. And they do a wonderful job of moving the kids through a well orchestrated lesson plan. The support teachers (Ms. Robles and Kacoutie), as well as the front office staff, do an incredible job.
Ms. Jazayeri, Ms. Qayyum, and Ms. Jackson are amazing teachers and we are so grateful for all the love, attention, and care they give our child in the toddler class. Not only are the kids well looked after, but there is great care that goes into planning activities and learning. This is a well run class and a well run school! My only regret is we didn't send my son here. The teachers and administration are so helpful, thoughtful and responsive. It's a hard decision where to send your kids while you're at work, and Goddard makes that easier!”

“We are so thankful for Ms. Katherine Campos, Ms. Celine, and Ms. Keshia. They have made such a positive impact on my daughter’s life. From the very beginning, they have shown her so much love, patience, care, and encouragement.
My daughter truly loves her teachers and is always happy and excited to go to school. Thanks to their support and dedication, she has improved so much with her speech, become more social and confident, and learned how to follow rules and routines better every day.
It means so much to us as parents to see her growing, learning, and feeling safe and loved in her classroom. We deeply appreciate everything they do and the kindness they show to all the children every day. They are truly amazing teachers, and we feel very blessed to have them in our daughter’s life.”

“My son started at Children’s Manor Montessori School of Rockville when he was 3 years old, in the Explorers classroom with Ms. Sera and Ms. Annabella. They were truly exceptional during his adaptation process. I will never forget how Ms. Annabella would hold him in her arms to comfort him and help him feel safe as he adjusted—something that meant so much to us as parents.
Now my son is in the Trailblazers classroom, and I couldn’t be happier. He has learned so much, gained confidence, and developed a more structured way of learning and responding. Ms. Lee and Ms. Danikha have been an incredible support in his growth.
On top of that, Ms. Raghad is always attentive to every detail—every field trip, every child. I can confidently say she knows each child by name, understands their situation, and is always there for whatever they may need.
It is honestly hard for us to think about leaving this school. I highly recommend it—not only because of the quality of education, but because you’re not just enrolling your child in a school… you are becoming part of a wonderful family.”
“The staff is friendly. The faculty is dedicated and knowledgeable. We’re very happy with the progress both of our children have made at Primrose, educationally and socially.”
“I would definitely recommend Grandma's Preschool and Daycare to anyone looking for a caring and educational home daycare experience. Both of our children attended for two years, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and support they received. I wish we had found them earlier when we were first exploring home daycare! It has been great working with their whole family and being able to see first hand the passion they have for their work.
When our oldest first started, his speech was behind for his age, and he was very shy around other children and adults. Within just a couple of months, we noticed a significant improvement in his speech, and over time, we saw him become more confident and comfortable socializing with his peers. One thing we really appreciated was that Ms Shelem conducts regular parent conferences where she shares age-appropriate developmental milestones and gives us the opportunity to voice any concerns. These conversations were incredibly helpful in understanding our child’s progress and how we could support him at home.
They’ve also gone above and beyond when extra support was needed. They helped us through a period where our son needed to wear an eye patch for two hours a day—something that could have been a nuisance or disruption to the routine, but they handled it with ease and care. Potty training was another area where we really appreciated their support and patience, especially since it’s been a longer process for us.
Another big plus for me is how involved I felt while they were there. Each year, they host events like a Thanksgiving lunch, trick-or-treating, Easter egg hunts, and graduation ceremonies where families are invited to join. I like being able to see how my kids interact with the other kids and teachers, and this offers a peek into their daily experience and interactions that we would normally not be privy to. Ms. Shelem also went above and beyond taking pictures on a daily basis and uploading them into a shared album. It's comforting to see what kinds of activities they work on and gives a chance to bring it up with the kids when they are home.
Lastly, I feel they’ve done a fantastic job preparing our children for kindergarten. They encourage independence in both self-care and early academics, helping our kids gain the confidence and skills they need for a smooth transition to school.
We are very grateful for everything this daycare has provided for our kids and are sad to be leaving!”

“If you’re looking for an affordable preschool with a curriculum that is both fun and educational, then Messiah Lutheran Preschool is the perfect place for your family! The staff are wonderful, always friendly and accommodating. My kids love the school and their teachers!”
“Both of my children went here for many years and we couldn’t have asked for a better daycare. The caregivers were amazing — loving, attentive, and genuinely cared about our kids. We will always appreciate everything they did for our family.”
“Last year, around this time, I was searching for a private school for my kid and reading a lot of reviews and visiting informal chats. Most parents who are researching private schools are probably strongly considering strength of the curriculum and costs. Those are important, but I really wanted to know about the personalities of the children and staff. We may assume that people affiliated with a religious background are kind and warm, but you likely know from life experience that this isn’t always the case. I heard from a few people who told me that their children/grandchildren/spouses were subjected to bullying, racism, and harsh judgments at their religion-affiliated private schools, and I read some reviews where some parents would write about how their kids were subjected to mistreatment, but the administrators did not care and did not address those issues, despite the high costs to attend these schools.Enter Christ Episcopal School. As my kid neared middle school, I could see that she might struggle with learning, in 7 different classes, and get lost in the crowd. She might have difficulty adapting to a large crowd of “real” kids who might speak to her roughly and she might not know how to respond. (Her brother went to this middle school, and has more street sense, but it wasn’t a great experience for him.) When I went to the CES Open House, I asked the head of school about whether there were conflicts in the middle school aged kids, and she responded so honestly, that it happens as you would expect among middle schoolers, but because the classes are so small, they are able to tamp down on conflicts before they escalate. I appreciated that candor, and I can confirm, it is true! The teachers and administrators get to know your children’s personalities and circumstances, and they will do their best to ensure that everyone is developing into a good citizen, feels supported in their learning, and is generally happy. And if you express concern about an issue your child is facing, the staff will address it, persistently if needed! All of this positivity may sound fake, but this really is a great little school. I want to go on and on, but I don’t want to lose your attention and take up further space. As you research school for your kid, I seriously hope you will consider CES … as all of these other parents have said, it is truly a hidden gem and I wish I would have learned about it when my older one was entering middle school.”

I recommend this preschool, they have classes for kids as little as 2 years old. They also offer Summer Camps if you have a little one and want to just try it out for a week to see how your kid adapts before sign them up for the regular school year, you can do that at HUMC. “The staff at this location is amazing. Let’s start with the office staff. Everyone in this office has been working in childcare for a long time and are the most supportive and caring people I’ve encountered. Next, my baby boy has the best teachers. I absolutely adore Ms. Elsa and Ms. Nariman. We appreciate every single one of you for putting us working parents at ease. My little baby is so lucky.”
“Starting preschool was a huge transition for our quiet and cautious 3-year-old. I'm not sure we could've picked a more nurturing and amazing environment for him to thrive in than ECC.The small class sizes drew us in, the awesome and caring staff moved us with how much they contributed to our son's development. He really blossomed socially, loved going to class, and was well prepared for kindergarten thanks to their play-based learning and emphasis on the whole child. The amount of care his teachers demonstrated towards him is really something we'll treasure forever, and the school director and support staff were also very friendly as well as communicative & organized. The grounds (on but not affiliated with the Rockville Unitarian church) were really nice. The classrooms themselves are quite small, but no problem for the small groups, filled with natural light, and well laid out for imaginative play and age-appropriate learning. They do a nice amount of school-community events for being so small; my son recently enjoyed a picnic even as an alumni recently :)Thank you ECC!”

“Miss Mirissa and Alisha have been caring for my son since he was just 3 months old, and I truly cannot put into words how grateful I am for them. Leaving your baby in someone else’s hands is one of the hardest things a parent can do, but they made it feel safe, and they made it feel like love.
Watching my son turn 1 year old, happy and thriving, I know without a doubt that they are a big part of that. He lights up every time he sees them, and so do I. They are more than caregivers, they are family. Thank you, Miss Mirissa and Alisha, from the bottom of my heart??”
“Georgetown Hill Early School has been a wonderful experience for our family. Our son has made significant progress emotionally, physically, and academically during his time here. The teachers and staff are professional, supportive, and truly care about the children's development.
We appreciate the well-rounded curriculum, which keeps our son engaged and helps prepare him academically while encouraging creativity. The school also organizes interesting field trips that add valuable, hands-on learning experiences.
The facilities are well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed to create a safe and welcoming environment for the children. Additionally, the school excels in communication, keeping parents informed through multiple channels such as newsletters, emails, an app, and direct interaction with teachers and administrative staff.
We’re grateful for the positive and nurturing environment Georgetown Hill Early School provides. It’s been rewarding to see our son grow and thrive here.”
