This is a super fun time. The attractions aren’t the scariest I’ve experienced, but entertaining and fun! The see no evil activity was well worth the extra cost on site, the town and trail were very entertaining. The center square really makes it unique! Several concession stands for sweet, savory and drinks - all of which were very good. Merch stand had tons of options. Bonfires were huge as advertised and a nice touch. Several photo set ups available, and the DJ kept the night moving! The DJ at the end of the trail was AMAZING, and wish you could see more of that! Overall, a great time!

Definitely a great atmosphere… we booked our walk through the trail for 9pm and our number didn’t get called until almost 10:30. We drove over an hour so having to wait an hour an a half after or scheduled time was not the best experience.

If you have structural lung disease (asthma, COPD), and want to go on this trail... don’t. Nowhere in the waiver does it warn of all the mist and fog you’ll walk through. I had an asthma attack for the last quarter of it, and couldn’t stop coughing, and there’s no way off the trail. The mist/fog is very heavy and dense and it’s difficult to breathe. I would really encourage Markhoff’s to include this on their waiver moving forward. I read it before I bought tickets and had no idea it would be an issue. I had to go get an inhaler from the first aid stand when we finally made it out. Also the description of “poorly lit” is an understatement. If you have trouble seeing in the dark, just don’t. I was staring at the ground the entire time making sure I didn’t trip, and when people would jump out to try and scare us I didn’t even see them since I was so focused on not falling flat on my face. It was not an enjoyable experience to say the least.

I went a few years ago and it was scream after scream, I loved it and spoke highly of the place. This year...not so much, very disappointing. There were changes made and I'm not sure if it was for the good. Only thing I really enjoyed was the corn maze in the town. The trail just felt like an extreme cardio workout. Not sure if it was because we were the last group of the night and everyone was tired but something was off.

I have been coming here since 2000 and it has always been a fun place to come, over the years it always gets better and longer and they never fail to make it a great environment. I’ll definitely keep coming, I’ve even brought my kids throughout the years and they love it

It was a fantastic experience. We will definitely be back next year but will be bringing a huge group of people. It was beyond what I thought it was. So glad we went.

Every year I visit multiple haunted houses, trails, hayrides, etc. during the days before Halloween. This year I went to Markoff's Haunted Forest, and it was the BEST haunted event I have EVER attended! I got the combo pass that included the haunted village and trail. Both were amazing.This experience greatly exceeded my expectations and was far better than any other Halloween attractions I have ever attended. The trail was extensive. I was amazed at the imagination and attention to detail in every exhibit. It was the longest and scariest trail I have ever been on. It was simply mind-boggling how they created this mysterious, spooky, thrilling trail. I will be back next year!

My first ever haunted experience! Did the forest trail with friends; and there was way more than expected!! The “set” pieces are really well done and the trail was lots of fun!
I will say; once you arrive at the Midway, other attractions are quite expensive :/ and the food is just ok!

This place is incredible! There was plenty to do to keep busy while waiting between each haunt. The haunts themselves were great! There is entertainment and giant bon fires.

Possibly the best scenes in the industry. The actors could use more training. One actor stood in the middle of the trail and had his mask halfway off and didn't bother trying to hide. Another actor slammed into me trying to scare people behind me. Someone also said "Boo".
Best clown scene I've ever seen. The Apocalyptic DJ was insane.
