Good store

I had a disappointing experience during my recent visit. When I entered the store, no one greeted me, and the same happened when I approached to make my purchase. The store was nearly empty, so there wasn’t a reason for the lack of attention.
Additionally, the woman with glasses who rang me up was on the phone, which caused a delay in scanning my items. It felt unprofessional and left a negative impression.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customer experiences can be improved.

Slow! Fully staffed but none work! Lined always long. They stare instead of assisting ! Literally wait 20 plus minutes in line to get serviced. 7 workers walking , only one on the registers out of 5 lines.

This review is based off the customer service that I received. I had some items to return and I approached the first employee that I saw to ask about returns before I got in line. I believe her name tag said Pocket. She was very helpful and courteous and directed a cashier on how to process my return. I can imagine that it is very stressful working in retail, and because of that, they experience a lot of call-outs and no-shows, leaving 2 or 3 people to run a store. We've all seen the clutter in the aisles in just about EVERY Dollar Tree and we've all experienced going in only to find out there’s just one register open. If you choose to take only 1 thing with you into ANY store, please take your patience.

I doubt very seriously that this Review will be read by anyone in authority at this Dollar Tree ( Penn Ave/towards Silver Hill Rd), therefore no improvement will be made but I will post anyway. The manager at this location is very unhelpful, he makes it clear that he doesn't want to be of assistance. When I approached him to ask if it was Ok to use certain baskets that do not look like shopping baskets, he barely answered me. When I ask if they sold ant repellent and asked where it was, he pointed and said "it's back there." I asked "can you tell me where?" He replied - "I don't know where, you can look on the wall." ??? Any other store worker who was already on the floor would have taken me to their product or even gone "to the back" themselves to get it for me. I certainly expected the same from a Manager. He had no problem telling me that he didn't know where the product was, in the store that he manages, nor did he care. I have np with him not knowing where the product is but at least pretend that you care, don't have your customers looking for items when they've asked for your assistance. He put forth no effort to be of assistance. The young cashier 's disposition was the polar opposite. He was so professional, mannerable, and also very helpful. Everyone is not equipped socially or skill wise to be a manager . Not just anyone can handle or deserves the position. Treat customers with respect and display appreciation for them. It's your customers who keep your store in business. Remember, you are a customer also, treat your customers the way that you would like to be treated. Give them the same service that you want when you visit any business establishment. Set a better example for your staff also. Though, one of your staff members could actually teach you something. Your cashier provided Excellent Customer Service. Koodos to the young man. ?? Do better Manager. Someone assigned you that position, don't conduct yourself as though they merely GAVE it to you bc you're family or something. Do Better.

A picture is worth a thousand words. I gave the store a few chances before posting this review but the mold in the soda cooler was the last straw. There are close to 10 other Dollar Trees around this area go to any and I mean any of them instead of this store. You can never find anything you are looking for unless you get lucky and find it in one for the boxes of stock that is laying around waiting to be put up and by put up I mean thrown on maybe the correct shelf. If you do happen to find what you are looking for then, you have to stand in the one line (maybe 2 if you are really lucky) that reaches the back the of the store. There is never anyone higher up that seems to be working to complain to. The only ok thing about the store is that the overworked employees that are there are friendly and apologetic. The store seems to just be so understaffed that there is just not enough man power or hours in a shirt to get anything done. They did recently add Amazon delivery lockers but good luck getting g an employee to have the time to help you because they are probably busy attending to the long line or blowing up balloons or doing tons of other stuff except for cleaning the soda cooler.

This store is terrible. It needs to be shut down! The store is disgusting and looks like it hasn't been clean in years. The floors are brown with dirt and the shelfs are dirty with mold. They barely have anyone working there. They have a low selection on certain items. Even the fridge in the back had dirt in it and the food boxes are beat up. I wouldn't be surprised if a rat ran through. This store shouldn't get one star it deserves 0.

The staff was professional and pleasant but in some areas of the store it seemed a little under stock.

Lines are always long around the holiday seasons. Yet this time around they really helped with a lot of the customers.
